M. Landers lives with his wife and three children among the rolling hills of Northern Kentucky. When he isn't immersed in a fantastic book, he can be found working on the farm or watching green things growing in his garden. He wrote Pan & Puck with his two eldest daughters in mind, in hopes that it would one day make a great bedtime story to read aloud to them.

He hopes you get to enjoy it in a similar fashion.

I have dabbled in Raymond Carver before, at least to get a feel for what tone he sets. That being said, I feel like this was my first meditation among his stories. I was often haunted and rarely disappointed.

I don't know if this sounds like an insult

I've gotten to really enjoy reading plays and O'Neill's dialogue and stage direction are enjoyable reading for me. That being said, this play is a deeply philosophical and somewhat nihilistic exposé on the lies we believe about our own intentions and ...more

J.R.R. Tolkien
“There cannot be any 'story' without a fall - all stories are ultimately about the fall - at least not for human minds as we know them and have them.”
J.R.R. Tolkien

Albert Camus
“Man is the only creature who refuses to be what he is.”
Albert Camus

J.R.R. Tolkien
“Human stories are practically always about one thing, really, aren't they? Death. The inevitability of death. . .
. . . (quoting an obituary) 'There is no such thing as a natural death. Nothing that ever happens to man is natural, since his presence calls the whole world into question. All men must die, but for every man his death is an accident, and even if he knows it he would sense to it an unjustifiable violation.' Well, you may agree with the words or not, but those are the key spring of The Lord Of The Rings”
J.R.R. Tolkien

C.S. Lewis
“What do people mean when they say, 'I am not afraid of God because I know He is good'? Have they never even been to a dentist?”
C.S. Lewis, A Grief Observed

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“If you treat an individual as he is, he will remain how he is. But if you treat him as if he were what he ought to be and could be, he will become what he ought to be and could be.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
