Thanks for the great question! I read The Chronicles of Narnia and just loved the way C.S. Lewis told an exciting story set in a remarkable world but which also explored some deeper themes. I think that was the moment I decided I wanted to write fantasy. The Poison Tree Path Chronicles is a fast-paced adventure trilogy, set in a very different world to our own but the story also touches on deep issues. For instance, in the first book of the trilogy, Chains of Gwyndorr, a theme that emerges is choice and consequence. The characters make choices which ultimately lead them to truth and freedom or deeper into captivity.(less)

It took me a long time to decide to attend LittWorld, the Christian Publishing Conference recently held in Singapore. As the deadline for registration drew nearer I balked. As much as I love expressing myself through writing, the publishing process has been stressful for me. Even on the writing front I wasn’t doing well. I was questioning whether writing was truly for me, whether I still had so...

I loved this feisty, fun book about a young woman whose great aunt's ghost comes to haunt her, and completely turns her life upside down. Far from being a creepy, macabre ghost, her great aunt is instead a fun-loving, dance-all-night kind of girl fro ...more

A very different book to his usual psycho-thrillers, but I still enjoyed this story of a childless woman who is obsessed with the life of an expecting mother. At times it was a little predictable, but the very clever deception the childless woman wea ...more
