The 12 Dancing Princesses

-a new illustration from my favorite Grimm's fairy tale, The 12 Dancing Princesses
My first (embarrassingly bad) attempt at this tale was for an assignment back in art school.   I found the old paintings hiding in the back of a drawer and thought it would be fun to redo them.  It's the story of 12 princess sisters who travel to a magical underground world every night.   It's always struck me as an unusual and beautiful story. This painting is one of two for the show "Adventure Awaits" at Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra, CA.  The show runs May 24 - June 15.

Etsy News - Larger Sizes

-Now offering larger size options on most of my Etsy shop prints! I've been getting so many requests lately, that I thought it was finally time to invest in the materials and make it happen.  Large prints- 10X10", 12X12", 11X14", & 12X16 " are printed on EPSON Hot Press artist grade paper  (same as standard sizes).  Any prints over 8X10" are shipped in a cardboard protective tube.  Use the "select dimensions" box for pricing.

Washi Tape

I'm so excited to share this artist-themed washi tape I designed for Japanese brand, Aimez le Style!  Aimez le Style is one of the top washi tape makers in Japan, specializing in gift wrap, stationary, and housewares and focusing on lovely designs for adults.  This was such a fun project, and I admit- it's just as fun to stick my own little paintings on whatever I can.  You can check out my tape design, along with an array of other kawaii craft supplies here.
