COMING SOON

I’m also trying my hand at watercolors and oil pastels, both of which I love working with. I’ll be adding those to my shop soon as well. And, of course, my books. (I need to have print copies on hand before I take that step.)

ABOUT THE ARTIST

“I’ve always had images in my head…

110122 - rem profile pic

Once upon a time I believed I couldn’t draw or paint. Drafting, yes. Design, yes. Sing, play the piano, dance? Absolutely. And let’s not forget acting and my British accent.

But draw?

One college semester of art changed all that. That, and realizing that art is subjective.

I’ve loved acrylic pour painting since I first saw it—and had to give it a try for myself. It very much gives the result I was wanting for a project I’ve had. I started with small canvases, experimenting with technique. In the process of learning, some pieces are “happy accidents,” while others are, well, you won’t see those! There are so many techniques, and always something new to try.

I’ve started with watercolors and oil pastels, too, and will be adding those to my Etsy Shop soon.

While writing is my first love, I am also very visual. I sometimes write scenes with my eyes closed, writing what I see… * Books coming soon, too. (I need to have print copies on hand before I take that step.)

DAILY SCRIPTURE – JAMES 1:22-24

master - daily Scripture Bible

ENGLISH / BÉARLA / WAMAREKANI / АНГЛИЙСКИЙ / ENGLISCH / ANGLAISE / INGLES

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. (NKJV) James 1:22-24

IRISH / GAEILGE

Ach bí lucht déanta an bhriathair, agus ná bígí ina lucht éisteachta amháin, á mealladh féin. Oir má éisteann duine an focal, agus ní dhéantóir é, is cosmhail é le duine ag breathnú ar a aghaidh nádúrtha i scáthán; le haghaidh breathnaíonn sé é féin, téann ar shiúl, agus láithreach dearmad cén cineál fear a bhí sé. (NKJV) Séamas 1:22-24

SWAHILI / KISWAHILI

(NKJV) Yakobo 1:22-24

GERMAN / DEUTSCH

(NTV) Santiago 1:22-24

GERMAN / DEUTSCH

(NTV) Salmos 42:6-7

ENGLISH / BÉARLA / WAMAREKANI / АНГЛИЙСКИЙ / ENGLISCH / ANGLAISE / INGLES

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (NKJV) Hebrews 4:12

IRISH / GAEILGE

Óir tá briathar Dé beo agus cumhachtach, agus níos géire ná aon chlaíomh dhá chiumhais, ag tolladh fiú go roinn an anama agus an spioraid, agus na n-alt agus na smior, agus is léiritheoir smaointe agus rún an chroí. (NKJV) Eabhraigh 4:12

SWAHILI / KISWAHILI

(NKJV) Waebrania 4:12
