More than a writer, I'm a reader. If you're like me, you love the relationships with authors and characters that take you beyond your own world and experiences.
Working in a bookstore, I have access to many traditionally published books. I've written 113 reviews for Goodreads since joining in 2013.
I've also recently begun a blog to promote and provide advice for self-published authors. Although I'm not currently accepting requests to review books, feel free to check out my new blog for book reviews, marketing tips, advice about using copyrighted material, etc. I'm still learning, but you'll also find links to great sites by book bloggers and authors.
Whether you are a reader, a blogger or an author, I hope you will enjoy my new blog, especia

Sometimes I write something else entirely different, just to get words flowing again. Keeping a journal is a great way to keep writing, and it can be a great source of ideas later on. Other times I read a book, just to get my head out of my own story. Sometimes I just have to wait it out.(less)

I hope to write more in the future about ideas that I have been ruminating about for some time. Hopefully, if one is lucky, readers will connect with one's ideas. I read a lot, and some authors have really made me re-think some of my assumptions. It would be great to write something that does the same for someone else.(less)
