Teresa LaBella has been fascinated with fiction since she learned to read. Writing in other genres developed past the stage of idea to 'I did' in the contemporary romance novel "Reservations" and 'I did it - again!' in "Heartland," the second novel in the romance trilogy.

In the final novel of the trilogy, the story moves from the Midwest to Scotland where a young woman's personal quest to find herself blazes a trail through uncertainty to a place of "Belonging."

Comments from readers led to a series spin-off novella, "Love Unlikely" and short stories on the lives of Harmony neighbors in "Tales from Heartland."

In the works: "The UnMatchables," an international thriller with a hint of romantic suspense.

My PA packaged it up and mailed it off. Let me know how much they billed you and I'll send a check to your address. Thanks for letting me know and yes, of course, I'd be happy to read your book and am also most interested to know your thoughts on mine.(less)

The first book in the series "Reservations" really is the light read, happily-ever-after romance. The second novel "Heartland" veered away from that story line and "Belonging" bent the rules even further. One of my editors and an author friend who writes erotica described the series as a family saga much more rooted in reality than the typical romance trilogy. So your choice of which book you would like to read and review and how you would like to receive it. E-mail?

Celebrate Every Triumph

The screenplay contest rules asked writers for prose submissions. Published or unpublished short stories, novellas and novels accepted by the deadline 24 hours away. No time to write and edit something entirely new.

I couldn't decide whether or what to submit. I've entered contests before and suffered the disappointment of thanks but no thanks with little or no feedback on how to improve my work an Read more of this blog post »

So my reliable source was informed. I think she's read everything J.D. Robb and Nora Roberts. I'll start at the beginning. Thanks!
