Award-winning writer of romantic comedies. Collector of colorful, kitsch things that usually sparkle. Adidas addict, Depeche Mode devotee and proud Wattpad writer!

After graduating with an honors degree in theater, she has worked in numerous creative fields. She's mainly worked as a TV script writer and storyliner, she has written, directed and produced theater, adverts and film and has worked as a copywriter. She didn't intend on becoming an author and "accidentally" wrote her first book, Burning Moon, two years ago. And the rest, as they say, is history.

When Jo is not writing, she is binge watching TV, contemplating the nature of en

Jo Watson Thanks so much. There is no sequel ;( Not yet at least. I'm still trying to decided where, when and how to do it.

I’m giving birth tomorrow (sort of)

Coming soon BM

I remember exactly how I felt waiting to go into theatre for my c-section… the birth of my first child. I was naturally terrified and utterly mad with nerves; in a few moments doctors would be slicing me open, while I was wide awake, and then yanking a crying, kicking, small human out of my uterus!

I was nervous that I might feel it. I was nervous to become a mother. I was nervous for the painf...

"4 Stars!

Thank you to Netgalley for providing an Arc in exchange for an honest review.

So here’s the thing. We’re in October, and normally I crave fantasy, nope. Not this year. Give me all of the Chick Lit I can ingest. I don’t know what it is about..." Read more of this review »

“There are moments in a person’s life that change everything. Shake things up. Steer you in a different direction and push you onto another course, toward different people, places, and things. These moments don’t come around often, but when they do, they rip through the very fabric of your world.”
Jo Watson, Burning Moon

“They contributed one third of the fee, meaning you had to fork out the other third.”
Jo Watson, Love to Hate You

“beneath those clothes and this had only ignited a full-blown war in my head. My primitive reptilian brain was waging a fierce war against my logical self, fighting for control.”
Jo Watson, Burning Moon

“When pointing out the flaws in others, people always end up talking about themselves.”
Claire Chilton

“The boldness of asking deep questions may require unforeseen flexibility if we are to accept the answers.”
Brian Greene, The Elegant Universe: Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory

“When someone is mean to me, I just make them a victim in my next book.”
Mary Higgins Clark

“There is a philosophy that says that if something is unobservable -- unobservable in principle -- it is not part of science. If there is no way to falsify or confirm a hypothesis, it belongs to the realm of metaphysical speculation, together with astrology and spiritualism. By that standard, most of the universe has no scientific reality -- it's just a figment of our imaginations.”
Leonard Susskind, The Black Hole War: My Battle with Stephen Hawking to Make the World Safe for Quantum Mechanics

“the three-dimensional world of ordinary experience—the universe filled with galaxies, stars, planets, houses, boulders, and people—is a hologram, an image of reality coded on a distant two-dimensional surface. This new law of physics, known as the Holographic Principle, asserts that everything inside a region of space can be described by bits of information restricted to the boundary.”
Leonard Susskind, The Black Hole War: My Battle with Stephen Hawking to Make the World Safe for Quantum Mechanics
