Angela Misri is an award-winning journalist, author and educator. Her detective series, called The Portia Adams Adventures, is set in the 1930s, and her first middle-grade novel is called Pickles vs the Zombies and was published by Cormorant books in September, 2019. Misri has an MA in journalism from the University of Western Ontario and has worked as a digital journalist for almost 20 years, first at the CBC and now at The Walrus. She also teaches in the journalism faculty at Ryerson University in Toronto.

Yes, my Canadian publisher could sell the books in the States, but they are a very small (3 people) team out of Halifax with limited pull south of the border. That means that yes, they could make my books available on Amazon, but probably could not get them into bookstores or get any kind of buzz for them.(less)
