John T. M. Herres is a multi-genre Author and sometimes Poet.

Born an "Air Force brat" in California, his family settled in Texas in 1973, where he lived for the better part of 38 years before moving to North Mississippi.

John began concentrating on writing in 2010 and self-published a book of poetry at that time titled "Life Through My Eyes: A Collection Of Poems."

Currently, he has five short stories and two poems published, one each in five anthologies, and a novel recently released.

I find that a sentence or two will bounce around in my noggin until I write it down. Then, as that one gets penned, more seems to flow from the tapped wellspring.

I don't have much control over what comes out initially but I do find there are times when I have to actually think of how to end them. In my opinion, I kind of suck at endings.(less)
