Jamaican Acute-Ghetto-itis by Crystal Evans
“lieve with resonance that it is unfair for a man to take another man's life. it is an insult to the almighty to destroy the sacrament of his creation, mankind...the father will not be lenient with those who destroys his artform”

Every Man Deserves A Good Jacket II by Crystal Evans
“When people tried to bring my ex up or what happened in the past to detract away from the life am living now. I just hit them with a stop mark.
I tell them. "I've moved on, Y'all should too.”

“I Write books for the little girl in the adult woman who some man told she was not good enough. Let us dismantle the notion that a woman cannot be free with her sexuality or that she needs a man to make her complete. This one is for the little girls with hearts on their sleeves.”

“I think every man a woman meets brings with him a kernel of truth about the concentric notions of men. So when they ask if my stories are true. I laugh since it would imply that i used every man in my life as my muse.”

More of Crystal's books…
“I am a diamond in the rut. A diamond to an untrained eye looks like a rock stone. So men will kick it around on the ground. It takes a man with an expert eye for fine Jewelry to notice its worth. Do not feel bad when men treat you like the little boys in Africa who gave away stones in exchange for candy. The hungry boys thought they were getting something better but had exchange wealth for a sugar high. Some men will do that. Exchange a valuable woman for the transient high of another. The boys didn't know better and so do some of these men. They don't know your worth.”
Crystal Evans, Ten Things Your Mother Should Have Told You about Dating

“Life is not profound without its own tragedy. It humbles us. Sets the bar for our introspection. Keeps us from believing we are gods. Puts our egos in check.”
Crystal Evans

“Don't turn a good dude who is loyal to his chick into a bad nigga by throwing yourself at him when he is already committed. Know when to stay the hell away.Good men are rare. If he aint single, don't make him unfaithful. Oh Yes, he might cheat with some other chick. It does not have to be you.”
Crystal Evans, Ten Things Your Mother Should Have Told You about Dating

“Those who are coming from the gutters know that from time to time a piece of us will break off and float back to the floor from whence it came. Wealth can gray your eyes at the edges, money does not make you hover above human qualities, you are only a flawed being with much material gain.”
Crystal Evans

“I tell my christian relatives that "churchianity" is the central reason the church is not teeming with young people. The hypocrisy within the church is not concealed from this growing, informed generation. The arrogance among church goers is unnerving, Jesus was such a humble individual to begin with, he did not discriminate.”
Crystal Evans, Mama Brown's Family

“Strangers are quick to help you because they don't have any grudges or vices to fall back on.”
Crystal Evans, Jamaican Acute Ghetto Itis

“Weirdest things in life are how people always create lofty ideals for you yet set average standards for themselves. People have always judged me above standard because of my brilliance not understanding that I came from unborn opportunities like them and was never in my estimation given any special tools for them to expect more from me than they expect from themselves. In hindsight people only place you on a pedestal so they can in the end tear you down.

We spend our entire lives judging ourselves against others. If we measure people and they fall short we believe we are license to
Insult them and tear them down. If they buoy on a float of accomplishments, we begin to feel small within ourselves and murmur about our own inadequacies.”
Crystal Evans

“When you are a success, your old friends will boast of your accomplishments and your new friends will celebrate your achievements. Your old friends will say " i knew you when you were.." Don't worry about them, their story ends there.”
Crystal Evans
