I can't say I've ever felt hopeless, or like I couldn't write. For me, it's always outside influences affecting my productivity--distraction, or too much stuff going on in my life that's clouding my thoughts. Stress goes hand in hand with the inability to focus and that breeds frustration. If I'm feeling like that, I need to take a breather and figure out how to fix what's bothering me.(less)
Nessie Strange I'm working on the sequel to Living Dead Girl, and I've also got a couple other projects in progress that I return to periodically.

Living Dead World Update

The wheels are in motion...first edited round of Daughter and Fate and Misfortune is back with the editor. And the cover artist is booked. After I get a better idea of timing (hopefully both edits and cover will be done by the end of September/beginning of October), I'll announce the official release date. I'll keep everyone posted!

Overall a solid entertaining read by a new author. I think what grabbed me most about this story was not the plot, but the characters and their interactions. There is a very human element to it. Lauren is both strong and vulnerable, and much the same ...more

“Jack stared at me. He had big blue eyes that were at war with the blue in his hair for attention—vibrant, sparkling, crystalline. His face? Defined cheekbones, full lips, straight nose and a strong jaw. In fact, I hadn’t really looked that close at him before, but he was kind of hot, if you could get past the whole punk thing (which for the record, wasn’t my thing at all). --Jen”
