WOWZER! Another fabulous read by Monica La Porta!
MY REVIEW:-
Where do I start? I guess by saying I’ve read a lot of Ms La Porta’s books and I’ve enjoyed each and every one of them. This one? Well, I loved it!
There’s the brooding, cold Valentine. A Shifter with his Wolf forever locked inside because of their forced interstellar travel, a side effect of space travel nobody could have foreseen. It doesn’t make him less of a Wolf, or Alpha, but I could feel is inner demons as his Wolf reared its head and he’s powerless to do anything about it.
They’ve been in space for a long time, so much so, that they cling to archaic traditions that can be surprising while reading. But they are necessary to understand for the storyline. He has a Blessed Bride who has no idea of what her true fate is and it’s one that Valentine grudgingly accepts if he’s to have an heir. The last of his line, he has no other option. Or does he?
Mirella, his Blessed Bride, has led a very sheltered life, her fate sealed from the moment she was born but the handsome Valentine soon awakens things inside her she could never have imagined. Totally oblivious of her destiny as Valentine’s Blessed Bride, she dreams of their future together.
Then there’s Dragon, another character that caught my attention, and boy did he catch it! I have a feeling we’ll learn more of the Dragon Shifter in further books but I’ve got to admit, I want book 2 NOW!
I enjoyed this book immensely, and, as usual, the author weaved a world of mystery, suspense, action, and dare I say it, love. Can’t wait for the next one to find out what happens, to Valentine, Mirella and also the sexy Dragon. Thanks to the author for another fabulous read.

Wow! Loving these!
Okay, so you all know I’m writing my new series, Guild of Dragon Warriors, Jaxon’s Sanctuary, and I’ve been checking out some items I’m thinking of getting to take to upcoming signing events. I’ve come across a ton of fabulous Dragon related stuff and I LOVE these!

Great New Kindle of Kids Bundle!
Just saw this and think it’s FAB! I know one of our daughters bought this for her oldest who loves it to bits! I’ve already bought her a number of books and she is eating them up! I love that it comes in different colors. Our wee one is a bit of a tomboy and chose her favorite color, blue! She’s winging her way through a hoard of books, including Harry Potter and Horrid Henry. It’s wonderful to see the wee ones taking such an interest in reading and she’s even asked me, “Nana, when can I read your books?” Of course I laugh as her mum says, “When you’re thirty!” lol. That’s her stock answer when they ask when they’ll be allowed to do something. So, if you’re thinking of introducing the kids to books, this may be a way to do it. It’s one step closer to them possibly thinking of writing their own story. You never know!
