Kit Daven was born in Toronto, Ontario, the only child in a military family. Writing since the age of seven, she has a continued fascination with stories, writing, and making books. After spending many years producing literary zines in her youth, Kit was published in Ryerson University’s White Wall Review under a different pen name in the mid 1990’s. In 2009, she decided to begin writing a serial to publish online. This project instead turned into the novel, The Forgotten Gemstone, which she indie published in November 2013. Her second novel, The Other Castle, was published in June 2016. They are the first and second installments in A Xiinisi Trilogy, which are both released through her small press, Eager Eye Books.

The Vault is the largest structure in the Realm of Xii. It functions as a repository for the worlds created by the Xiinisi, and the contents of this structure continually shifts and changes, as does the architecture. Hi!
I have a system.

I actually had a number of books written well before I published which allowed me to set the wheels in motion. At all times I have 7-8 stories going in various stages. One could be first draft - two or three in later drafts - at t See C.A.’s answer.
