The Forgotten Gemstone by Kit Daven
"One of my pet peeves is when a story is dumbed down, a nasty issue that is more and more common. This book was the opposite of that- the story is bewildering, and took a while for me to feel I had got my feet under me (although I believe that was..." Read more of this review »

Half an Ogre by Cameron S. Currie
"Probably my best book to date, and definitely my largest (and thus, the best deal!). The title character is an eight foot orphan farmhand named Sapphire who joins a mercenary unit so she can run off and see the world, and maybe help save it. Many..." Read more of this review »

“My experience of life is that it is not divided up into genres; it’s a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know, with a bit of pornography if you're lucky.”
