Among his favorite characters were Encyclopedia Brown, Sebastian the Super Sleuth, and Sherlock Holmes. When in search of new mystery stories, he read Murder on the Orient Express and found the tale intriguing. Unfortunately, he felt that the name “Hercule Poirot” was unseemly, and abandoned any fu

I'm thrilled that you liked "Things Grak Hates"! I hope I don't alienate any fans when I say that my next novel will be drastically different and won't be out until 2016. That being said, I'm holding back details at the moment until I can get a proper synopsis to fans. Some have asked for at least a reveal of the genre, but I feel that would make it too easy to jump to conclusions, so I'd really like to give a full synopsis instead. Of course, if you ask a specific question about the book, I might be able to answer that.(less)

But, trilogies often go awry, and I have many other stories in mind, so I can't be certain if a sequel will ever come to life. At the least, I'm positive that my next book will have nothing to do with Grak.(less)

For much of the book, I had no idea where it was headed. This is a tricky approach for an author to take, as that can easily turn off most readers. Fortunately, it worked in this case. With only a handful of hints along the way pointing toward the bo ...more

As usual, Dr. Craig lays out good arguments, though goes into many of these points in greater detail elsewhere. Dr. Sinnott-Armstrong, on the other hand, employed many fallacies and made his half of the book somewhat lackluster. As such, this is more ...more

"Think carefully before picking this book up. It's a polarizing one. It's a book you're either going to love or hate, so do yourself a favor and read the synopsis carefully.
