Before long, my original characters begin to crowd my thoughts and vie for my attention. When I cannot ignore them anymore I go back to my original project, with the result being, I have furthered my next novel in the process. (less)

I love that I get to use my creative self to write. Being an author is not my only job, but it is my creative outlet. One of the very best things about being a writer is being able to create your own world. And not just create it, but live in it whenever you chose. Every time I sit down to write, I'm transported to another place and very often another time. It is my escape from the real world with its busyness and stresses. (less)

This collection is filled with wonderful stories told by a traditional storyteller from the Isle of Skye. The only regret I had reading this collection is that it ended too soon, and I wished for more stories.

This is the first novella in the Donbridge series. These are great, original American tales by Raymond. They're a quick read and a great addition to the dark tales written by an emerging American author.
