My interview in Usawa Literary Review.
The Interviews Editor Kabir Deb throws unpredictable questions at me during this interview.
Thank you, Kabir for your most unusual questions.
Kabir says, “On a breezy evening, I interviewed Rochelle Potkar regarding her latest collection of poetry (which also happens to be her fourth book after Four Degrees of Separation, Paper Asylum, and Bombay Hangovers) named “Coins in Rivers” published by Hachette India, for Usawa Literary Review. Now here it is for all of you to read, and to then go for the collection which is available in your nearby bookstores!
.
.
As the interview editor of the magazine, the questions received the warmth and love which the poet, short-story and screenplay writer is so full of. The book has all the constituents of poetry, making it a poetry collection by an Indian poet that is going to stay with me for a long, long time.”
Thank you Editor-in-Chief Smita Sahay for helming the robust, long-running Usawa Literary Review.

An old note as good as ‘forever’.
Look what I found – an old note by my beloved mentor Jayanta M. #jayantamahapatra In my old scribbly notebook. Handwritten notes are so precious in the day of the Digital. This is for my book ‘Coins in Rivers’. But finding this now … I take as a blessing and a good omen. Thank you!

Galley proofs of ‘Coins in Rivers’ reaches early reviewers.
I always wanted to do something about this cute term ‘galley proof’. With a few ARCs (Advanced Review Copies) sent to early reviewers had that wish fulfilled too. Picture cred: Kabir Deb.
Thank you team Hachette India. ‘Coins in Rivers’ releases on 18th April.

Me @Chitkara Lit Fest, Chandigarh, Feb 2024
The Chitkara Lit Fest at the Chitkara University Chandigarh February 23, 2024 was so many things. For one: I chose to not be on a panel, speaking or waxing eloquent – only because I have been writing (eloquently?), so my words were kinda exhausted. Phew! I opted rather to perform my poetry and that did me a world of good. To come out of my burrow after so long and get all vocal on stage and for a little while be a Spoken word Poet – a Stage Poet. Hmmm, interesting. My poems were on Love & War – two energies that are constantly shaping our worlds.
I met amazing faculty, peers, and talented students and I came away inspired and enriched.
And it was pleasant weather for the Mumbaikar in me. 12-15 degrees.
My book Bombay Hangovers too had a few takers.
Media mentions: The Hindustan Times, The Print, ANI News, BNN Breaking.
