Haibun workshop for beginners – at the British Council Library, Mumbai

We are conducting a haibun-writing workshop tomorrow morning at the British Council Library.

Come prepared to write neat lyrical paragraphs. [Or…err….they are called stanzas in prose-poetry, or strophes… Anyway, forget nomenclatures. Come!]

Extra epiphanies (my LOLs are words)

If there is a circus, there will have to be clowns.

If there are clowns, there will sooner or later be circuses.

Nothing unusual.

Nothing surprising.

If there is boredom in the non-clowns, there will have to be circuses and clowns.

If there is ignorance  in the non-clowns, there will have to be circuses and clowns.

Nothing unusual.

Nothing surprising.

Every non-clown is a clown somewhere else.

But once a clown always a clown.
