Maria Carvalho is a multi-genre author whose love of words is as fervent as her disdain for math. Her children’s book 'Hamster in Space!' was lauded by Kirkus Indie Reviews for its “sharp understanding of kids’ wacky sense of humor” and remains an indie bookstore best seller. A number of her short stories have appeared in anthologies of varying genres.

When she's not driving herself nuts working out plot details, Maria loves to spend time outdoors with her family. She is also one of approximately sixteen Connecticut natives who are, inexplicably, Miami Dolphins fans.

An avid reader, Maria plans to finish all the books on her ‘to-read’ list by the year 2347.

"One cannot go wrong with an anthology that rotates and revolves around the moon. And just like the moon, some stories are magical, some spooky, all entertaining.
