Usually working on the next one will alleviate the writer's block on the first one. Another thing you can do is type in bold large print write " CHANGE THIS" then write whatever comes to mind. That will allow the creativity to continue without the stress of writing something brilliant. The change this is so the gobbledygook you just wrote gets removed by the next draft.(less)

Also when you finish something put it down for a while. I recommend months if you are not on a deadline. Write something else then go back to the first project. You will read it with fresh eyes and catch a lot of mistakes. (less)
