I just lived an entire lifetime in 3 weeks
Wasn’t my lifetime, though. In the pas 3 weeks I’ve been living a metaphorical lifetime and even more, a parallel one.
What do I mean, you ask? Well, let’s start a few weeks ago.
On Saturday 8th I had a baby shower. A celebration of a new life, a new beginning. You can imagine the excitement in the air! Full of joy, laughter and even knowledge (proving that grandmas know better than anyone). We were happy about a life that haven’t even been here yet. (someone may have a different opinion in this matter, but that’s a lecture for another time). So in my subconscious, and after realizing all this 2 weeks later, I was also celebrating the beginning of something. I have no idea what exactly, but something.
Later, on Saturday 15th, I had a wedding. One of my college’s best fiends married his lifetime boyfriend. You can imagine my happiness. And I had the time of my life (or at least a great time I hadn’t have in a very long time). I even have time to catch up with friends and realize I’m ok with the path I chose. Noticing what anyone of them (and me) have done in a short time and being happy about it, is very grateful for the soul. Again, part of a life, something, growing here or in other place.
And last but not least, this weekend. Sunday 23th. I had to go to a funeral. The end of a life. A grandfather’s friend died yesterday and sitting there, supporting and trying to cheer up the mood, made me realize I just lived a lifetime. Something in the this universe just born, lived and died in front of my eyes. And I have no idea what that was. Could be something really important, or really simple, but for my eyes, was important.
I wish I could know what that was. What I just experience. It’ll be really interesting to discuss this. Maybe that lifetime was in a parallel universe. One in which life is shorter, but fuller. So fuller, someone in this reality noticed about.

So many things to do
After uploading the new book cover, I’ve been working on many different things at the same time. That also means I haven’t finished anything at all.
I’ve been working on the translation of the first book. It have been more difficult of what I thought.Also I’m trying to write the second book, but first I decided to edit the chapters I already had. Besides that, I jumped into publishing the first book on createspace, so I made the cover, the interior and everything else. After 3 days I just realized that I needed to fix some thing on my word document before publishing it. It’s never too late to learn something new.
Besides all of the writing process, I’ve been drawing (cause I also draw a lot) and I’ve been focusing on that too, for some personal reasons. My head explodes with creativity at 6pm and turn off at 2 am. So, between those hours I have to work on all of these things (and take care of the house , and have a life). Its a really hard thing to do.
But, this couldn’t be complete without the perfect amount of procrastination on tumblr, watching movies and my favorite tv shows every week.
Basically I do a lot of stuff and at the same time I do nothing. I’m not sure the solution is focusing on just one thing because, when I do that, I lose track of things that need to be perfected too.
I wish I could write like an advice for other people who have the same problem, but I don’t even know hot to manage them in my own way.
I’ll keep doing things, though. I’ll never stop doing things like writing or drawing. Creativity is all I have. Is almost the only thing I’m proud to have.
Keep the hard work! Even if it takes you time.

The art of art.
For this first Lumiere Thursday, I want to talk about a project that started a few weeks ago.
Sarah Urist Green, John Green’s wife, started a youtube channel called The Art Assignment.
Art isn’t always paintings in the walls or drawings or old sculptures. Sometimes something simple as taking photos to people walking on the street can be art if you put passion and imagination to it. The Art Assignment show us different kinds of art that we aren’t use to and that we haven’t see (or at least me). For the first assignment, they showed us how meet with someone can be considered as art. The art of meeting people, share ideas, enjoy the view of the place where you decided to meet and also the trip you made and sharing with your partner, is the most incredible way of art that I’ve seen. Human interaction is a way of art, if you know how to show it. Record it, take a picture, tell a story. The way people understand it is also a way of art.
The second episode of Art Assignment show us what I was looking for for showing in this section. Taking consciousness of what is around you, what is happening in the world, and showing different ways of see light is exactly what I want to post every Thursday. This second episode showed us how a simple experiment and taking pictures (or recording) of the human interaction with a random object, i a very unique way of art. Not only watching them from the distant, but also taking notes of details. What did they do. Did they react the way you were expecting? What were thy wearing? And post it in you own way. On a journal or maybe on your wall with a bunch of pictures, drawings, and post-its. Transform yourself into an investigator and notice what people do everyday. Also, notice that you also can change your way of view with this. You start notice more things that happens around you. You can start taking a moment while you drink coffee and watch what’s going on around you instead of what’s going on on your phone. Enjoying colors, smells, reactions and sharing this with other.
The Art Assignment has two episodes by now, and they’ll be posting more. Also they give us the possibility of doing the second assignment and post it on the internet. It could be seen in the next episode. Check the episodes in their youtube channel and also subscribe for more.

For the first Monday wanted books, three books I really want to read and I haven’t read them yet. I have them on my ‘to-read list’ and I have them saved in my Nook, but I want them as a paperback too.

Legend is a book that captured my attention long time ago, but I’ve been busy reading other things. I’m pretty sure many people have read it and I’m one of those ones that haven’t because laziness. Anyway, I want it. Even if I read it on my Nook first.

I’m not gonna lie. This book has been in my mind for several months and I haven’t been able to read it! Even though, I want it (and I must) read it soon. I’ve read many reviews about this book (no spoiler) and most of them agree is a good book. I want to have my own opinion about it, so I decided this book will be the next one on my list.

Lets face it. I want this book cause its cover is pretty. Besides the cover, I want to read it cause I want to see the functionality of that society. Even though, I think I’m not so into love triangles as much as many others. I most interested in the relationship of the main character and the society. How he/she handles her future and the decisions he/she makes for his/her self. I know, is another dystopian story, but I’m so into them as I’m into science fiction.

LosArtificiales no son bienvenidos en las Ciudadelas y ella tenía todas las características mas comunes para serlo. Después del toque de queda, y durmiendo en un callejón oscuro, Sera escuchó como dos individuos traspasaban la reja que limita la Ciudadela con el desierto. Dos Artificialesrobaban alimentos y no pudo evitar seguirlos, metiéndose en muchos problemas. Sera es llevaba inconsciente por aquellos dos Artificiales e inserta en un mundo desconocido, en el cual nunca pensó que podría sentirse tan a gusto.

Sitting alone at a restaurant table, Sera rereads the notes she had made in his book. She had several days traveling alone between Citadels, getting information about the reward that would change her life and allow her to leave her past behind. The villagers looks were over her at all times. They hadn’t have many visits in Citadel 5 because of the battles, and her perfect white skin, her gorgeous blonde hair and beautiful green eyes stood out from the rest, generating full and complete distrust . The Artificials are not welcome in the Citadels and she had all the most common features to be one of them. After curfew, and sleeping in a dark alley, Sera listened how two individuals pierced the gate that limits the Citadel with the desert. Two Artificials were stealing food and she could not help but follow them, getting into trouble. Sera is carried away unconscious by these two Artificials and inserted into an unknown world where she never thought she could feel so comfortable.
