5 Ways To Write Characters That People Care About
In a previous article, we explored five ways to make your characters more three-dimensional. Once your characters are believable as living, breathing individuals, the next step is to make readers care about them. When readers are invested in the characters’ struggles and personal stories, they are much more likely to keep reading.

In addition to Harry, Ron, and Hermione, apparently we can expect to see Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) and Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) himself in the new scenes as well. “Of course you have He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named making an appearance…Helena [Bonham-Carter] supports him as one of his team. And then we have our main heroes appear as well. You get to meet all the great characters from the stories,” Gilmore continued.

Rescue
I need someone to rescue me.I feel trapped in a tower, like a princess.
A tower so high it scares me.
With a dragon guarding my door.
The dragon being my own insecurities, which doesn’t allow me to be me.
I’m not asking for a prince to save me.
I’m asking for anyone who wants to.
It could be a cat.
A cat brave enough to step into my castle and teach me how to be me.

I agree. I HAVE TO WRITE. Like, literally...
Loving Characters
Last friday I went to a stream of an interview James Dashner gave to Latin America.
He answered questions about the maze runner, the upcoming movie and some other things.
He gave useful tips for writers too, like you must love your characters first so everyone likes them too.
After the interview I thought I need to write more cause I really want people to like my characters too.
It is important to create great characters. Construct them with a lot of layers we as reader would like to explore.
I want my characters to have a voice and a soul that people will love (or maybe hate, who knows).
Then I went straight home to write like a maniac.
Also, I won a book!
