My love of writing began with an early interest in reading and of words in general. I write short stories, novels, flash fiction, poetry, and also blog.

Dropped Pebbles is my usual writing blog and features my supernatural fantasy trilogy, Rise of the Papilion. Visit at: www.droppedpebbles.wordpress.com.

Under the pseudonym 'Delia Talent', I also host the Christian Creative Nexus, where Christian Creatives go to promote their work and find support while pursuing their creative calling. Visit at: www.deliatalent.wordpress.com.

Other names I created while looking for ones that matched a cultural group (the Rovers, who are based off Vikings, have names that are related to Scandinavian names). And I admit, sometimes I just like to take regular names and twist them because they look cool: Seylem rather than Salem, is an example. In book 2 (Wolf's Bane) I develop a culture based on Japan and the names are inspired by that culture. Thanks for asking! (less)

Recently, I had a collaborative writing session with a friend to try to get going again, and things got really silly. But we had so much fun; it was great not worrying about things being perfect. That activity seemed to break down a wall and I feel refreshed and excited to write. (less)

Well written, well-paced story with a main character that is easy to like and rally behind. The 'twist' in the story is teased throughout, finally coming together all at once at the end. I was a little frustrated with the exposition at that point; it ...more
