E.W. Storch is a writer of fiction with a fantastical bent, taking inspiration from such great authors as Neil Gaiman, Theodore Sturgeon, Kurt Vonnegut, J.R.R. Tolkien, Samuel R. Delany, Jack Vance, William Gibson and Robert A. Heinlein - just to name a few (and his personal favorites).

Mr. Storch relishes in creating believable characters and putting them in terrible situations just to see what will happen. Sometimes, everything turns out okay for his hapless victims.

In 2013, Mr. Storch released a collection of short fiction, Impenetrable Falsehoods, through the offices of ALL CAPS PUBLISHING. The collection has received favorable reviews, the writing described as having a, "...lyrical style and compelling imagination." Others have said of

“His voice was that kind you get from smoking three packs a day and then spending all night howling at the moon.”

“If I close my eyes, I can feel his body, in that way that you do when someone is near, a faint yet intent electric pulsing.”

“He used to tell me stories while we fished. Ones he made up, I guess, I’m not sure. One year, a beaver family dammed the brook and built a lodge. He made up stories about them, very 'Wind in the Willows' stuff. He used to tell me that the fish were water spirits, or lost mermaids, or nixies; it was always something different. So, we always threw the fish back. He said it would bring us luck.”
E.W. Storch, Impenetrable Falsehoods: A Small Book of Small Fiction

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
Mae West

“You know, one of the tragedies of real life is that there is no background music.”
