I enjoyed this book more as it went along. I read a lot of military history, and Kugler gives a vivid picture of the training and missions as a sniper in Vietnam. I didn't think I'd like the book, but by the time I'd finished I was glad I'd read it. ...more

This is an interesting look at the special forces missions in Vietnam. It is well-written, but I wish there had been more live action battle stories.

This is a well-written account of the inside criminal activities of the mob. It tells how the mob operates and how they get away with so much through their connections.
