I’ve always loved to read and write. Consequently, English was the only major I could foresee. Books like “Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry”; “I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings”, and many others whose titles I forget, but whose plots impressed my soul, made becoming an author a dream worth pursuing. Now, I am an author. Pretty cool. I am no longer a Northerner (yikes!) and I confess that I now call pop, soda. I absolutely love to cook and I’m a budding gardener. Music is my other favorite creative outlet. I love to weave the reality of the spiritual realm into the fabric of the physical world.

My last post was June of last year. Seven months ago. I feel like I've been to the moon and back.

You ever felt like you were caught up in a Kitchen Aid mixer set to medium high? Once turned off, life is a new mix. Am I truly back to blogging? I'm not sure, honestly. Blogging, editing, marketing take up a lot of time and head space that I find that I need to devote to my six children, ages 25, 2... Read more of this blog post »

“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.”

T. Webb Before The Beginning received a 5 Star Amazon review from author Precarious Yates. Precarious Yates

"I was very much impressed with this debut novella and the story that flowed like a swiftly rushing river. On an intellectual level, I was impressed with the skillful execution of pacing and story telling. On an emotional level, I loved the vivid images Webb's words evoked in my mind.

On a spiritual level, I was impressed with the realities of Abba's love, a love that always hopes, always trusts, always preserves, and always protects.

Part speculative history, part science fiction novel and part devotional, Before the Beginning is a very worthy read. There were a number of point of view changes throughout each chapter, but these always flowed well and made sense. Don't let this aspect deter you from reading this wonderful and fast paced novella. When I fell asleep after reading this book I dreamed of angels."
