A helpful book for those in the beginning phases of writing, or an author looking to tune-up their craft. Some sections I found were common knowledge and repetitive, but certain chapters were still informative, inspiring, and fun to read through.

As a family we love the cartoon, and when I found out there were books, this was the first one I bought to read to my child. It was great! A story about young Sarah needing to see a Doctor because she’s under the weather. She takes along her best fri ...more

Some of these poems were poignant and deep. Others are dark and brooding. I wasn’t a fan of the more moodier or too simplistic poems. But the ones I did enjoy have stayed with me. The little pen illustrations add a further artistic touch to the book.

This was the favourite amongst the Leslie Patricelli books. My daughter enjoys bathtub time, so reading a book about it was such fun. Rubber ducks, lots of bubbles, and more adorable illustrations to look forward to in this little read.
