Forget about me.
Erase me from
your memory,
because I know
that’s something
you’ve always
wanted...

Forget about me.

Erase me from

your memory,

because I know

that’s something

you’ve always

wanted to do.

I didn’t lose my love for you

one morning and decide...

I didn’t lose my love for you

overnight. I didn’t just wake up

one morning and decide that

this thing we were doing,

the direction in which we were

heading in was only making

us more lost. I lost my love

for you when I slowly came

to the realization that this

thing we were doing was only

going to lead us both to

the constant pain of heartbreak.

They got you to turn
against yourself. To make
you believe that you are
no one of importance.
Just...

They got you to turn

against yourself. To make

you believe that you are

no one of importance.

Just yesterday you began

to feel at ease in your

own body. To feel comfort

being stuck inside

a layer of skin that you

know you can never

free yourself from.

This is how they

get you to go against

yourself. They tell you

that you will never

be someone who is

worth remembering.

"This is where I lost you,
the moment when you
finally decided that my love
could never be enough..."

This is where I lost you,

the moment when you

finally decided that my love

could never be enough

to make you stay.

All those moments in which

we only ever clawed at the

surface of things, speaking

words that didn’t need to be

spoken and omitting ones

that we so desperately

needed to express.

This is where I lost you,

the moment when open

palms met the mouth

of a decaying sun,

and where shadows slanted

until there was no ground

left to cover.

All those moments in which

we only ever looked at the

exterior of things, we did not

realize that we were beginning to

fold away from one another,

like two flowers reaching

for different skies.

When she touched mefor the first time, I knewin that very momentthat my life would bechanged...

When she touched me
for the first time, I knew
in that very moment
that my life would be
changed forever.
That my life would
hold more meaning
as long as she
never grows tired
of our textures
losing themselves
in each others.

We are always waiting, searching for someonewho can give us that lovethat we have alwayswanted to...

We are always waiting,
searching for someone
who can give us that love
that we have always
wanted to give to another.

everything that reminded me of youis starting to remind me of...

everything that reminded me of you
is starting to remind me of her,
and that’s how I know
that I am finally over you.

Before you left, I tookthe stars from your eyesso I could give themto someone who wouldactually be...

Before you left, I took
the stars from your eyes
so I could give them
to someone who would
actually be able to name them,
rather than treat them
as if they blurred your vision,
blinding you from the truth.
But these stars were not
in your eyes to cause a problem.
They were in your eyes
to show you that the light
of my love would never burn out.
Not even when you would
close your eyes to shut me out.
