Hello Antonios,
I am so sorry to tell you I do not have the article. It seems to have been lost some years ago when my computer crashed. And Suite101 has apparently disappeared from the internet. This is a great pity for your thesis. Again, I'm very sorry I cannot help. I hope you can find another way to support your thesis.

Best wishes,

Hi…moreWell, I'm looking into the mouth of winter right now! (I'm in Australia.) But, while pushing on with my next novel, most reading pertains to to it. History texts and old newspapers from the 1914-18 era are the main ones. When I can put that aside I go back to a very enjoyable novel, The Sea Between, by Margaret Sutherland. Lovatt or Jess Steven Hughes--just to mention two of many.(less)

Striking Out

In my South Australian adolescence I practically lived in the ocean or on the beach. Even when I was at school or university my mind was sprinting over sand, cutting across a jade-green wave-face or thrusting underwater through the translucent greens, pinks and ambers of the sea-weeds. Not the best way to scholastic success you might say, but eventually I groped my way onto a more conventional pat Read more of this blog post »

My Name is Eva by Suzanne Goldring
"I really enjoyed this. It's very well written, with a great 'voice'. Eva is a marvellous character, and I like the way her past is gradually revealed -- it was good to come across something other than the usual female-SOE/SIS-agent stuff. Every minor" Read more of this review »
Locking Up Our Own by James Forman Jr.
"This is an outstanding book, beautifully written in clear, literate prose. Some of the statistics and examples given are shocking to non-Americans, and presumably, one hopes, to Americans too. Forman is the grandson of Jessica Mitford and Esmond Romi" Read more of this review »
