Melissa Miles is a Registered Nurse and a Certified K-12 teacher. Her first novel, This She'll Defend is based on her own family's experiences living in Germany. Her second novel, coming out in 2014 is called Burning Prospects. It is based on a true story set in 1800's Mississippi.
Melissa lives in Georgia with her husband of 24 years and is the proud mom of two young adults. When she isn't writing, she works as a Pediatric Nurse.
