Peanut Butter M&M’S® Truffles.
These smooth and creamy peanut butter truffles are filled with M&M’S® and topped with rich chocolate. A homemade candy proving that there is no better combination than peanut butter and chocolate!
I come from a M&M’S® family.
A colorful assortment of M&M’S® in mom’s crystal candy jar was simply apart of the home decor. Green and red for Christmas, pastels for Easter, Peanut M&M’S® (faaaaavorite) around my birthday. Now that I have my own house, M&M’S® grace the top of the buffet table on the regular. In fact, my friends usually take a straight shot from the front door to the candy jar when they visit.
It’s def the chocolate that draws them all in, not their friend Sally.
So when M&M’S® got in touch with me for a little collaboration, I jumped at the opportunity to work with a brand that’s always been apart of my family. They just launched their new Pinterest page, a goldmine for M&M’S® aficionados, and asked that I put my own M&M’S® spin on a few new recipes. Last month? M&M® Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches (with no-churn ice cream!! and homemade super soft cookies!! more exclamation points!!). And today? It’s all about the peanut butter.

Saturday Seven, 19.
Congrats to my sis, Sarah, and her soon-to-be hubs Charlie! I’m in Baltimore for their big day (today!). Sarah and Charlie met here and we are all so excited to be in the city where their journey began 8 years ago. We’ve been here since Wednesday getting everything ready for this incredible day!
The beautiful bride was my maid of honor and I am honored to be her matron.
Matron. It sounds so old.
While my matron of honor duties call, I’m sharing another Saturday Seven with ya. The theme for today? Celebratory, of course! With a side of sprinkles.

Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes with Honey Butter.
Fluffy buttermilk pancakes loaded with vanilla flavor and juicy strawberries. Top with homemade honey butter for the ultimate weekend indulgence!
Oh hey good lookin’. How fluffy and buttery and luscious and over-the-top do these buttermilk pancakes look? If it’s even possible, they taste even better than they look.
The other weekend while all my friends were in town, I had a hankering for buttermilk pancakes. So, I made blueberry waffles. Were they yum? Yes. Were they as good as pancakes? Um, is anything as good as pancakes?
No.
Waffles will never be pancakes.
The following Sunday, with a pancake craving as big as my hair on a humid afternoon (scary), I made these strawberry beauties. Complete with a pile of homemade honey butter. Because I’m ridiculous. And had just ran 5 miles. I’ll take another dab of honey butter, thankyouverymuch.

Easy Healthy Dinner: Garlic Honey Ginger Glazed Salmon with Broccoli.
This simple baked salmon is smothered with a 4 ingredient garlic honey ginger glaze and is ready in under 35 minutes!
I am 100% positive that this will be your new favorite healthy dinner.
But before I get to that… let me tell you something. I was talking to my friend the other day about how much I love sharing savory recipes on my baking blog. Really, I do. Not only to share the savory food I eat on a day-to-day basis, but because of convenience. Dinner is every single day whereas cinnamon sugar donuts and toffee cookies… ahem… shouldn’t be so regular.
Sorry. That was my summer wardrobe talking.
Baking is where my heart is but it SO much fun to share simple everyday recipes with you. If you’re anything like me, you’re looking up easy dinner ideas on the regular. So hopefully today’s recipe will be the next one you try!
Ok, back to today’s flavorful salmon.
My sister’s wedding is this weekend (!!!!) and in an effort to look and feel my best standing by her side, I’ve been keeping meals on the light and healthy side.

Salted Vanilla Toffee Cookies.
Salty and sweet vanilla cookies loaded with chunks of toffee and topped with a little sea salt. Chewy edges, soft centers, lots of buttery goodness.
I made today’s salty sweet cookies for all my friends visiting last weekend. The batch makes 2 and 1/2 dozen and there wasn’t a crumb left by Sunday morning.
I truly believe that all salty sweet desserts are addictive.
First, you take a bite of salty.
“What is this?! It’s so good! Is that sea salt?”
Second bite. It’s sweet.
“Ahhhhhhh! (actual scream) It’s sweet and vanilla-y too.”
And then, the last bite.
“Ommmg I love toffee. I can’t even.”
Repeat 30 times.
My friends do not talk like this. But for cookie writing purposes, YES they do.
I attribute the cookies’ mass appeal to supreme buttery flavor, all the fresh vanilla, the bits of toffee in every single bite, and the sprinkle of sea salt on top. There is so much going on; your tastebuds will go into overdrive.
My stomach is growling looking at this pile of cookies. ↑
Focus, Sally.

Baking Basics: Baking Powder vs Baking Soda.
Become a better baker by learning the real differences between baking powder and baking soda– in easy-to-understand language!
Welcome back to my Baking Basics series! In the past few weeks, I had a little logo made. You like? (Thanks Kath!)
Today I’m discussing one of the most confusing subjects in the entire realm of baking. Something that boggles (I accidentally just typed “boogles” ??) the mind of nearly everyone on earth. Or at least those who care. (Me! Me!) What is the difference between baking powder and baking soda? Are they the same? Can I sub one for the other without changing anything else?
If there is one thing that you take away from today’s lesson, let it be this: baking powder and baking soda are absolutely not the same.
Baking powder and baking soda are both leaveners, however they are chemically different.

Baked Cinnamon Sugar Donuts.
There is nothing like waking up to fresh-baked cinnamon sugar donuts, but what makes this recipe a winner is how EASY it is!
Happy Tuesday slash Happy belated National Donut Day!
Can every day be National Donut Day? I feel like waking up to the obnoxiously loud alarm every morning would be a lot easier if there was a fresh-baked donut waiting for us downstairs. From the donut fairy, of course. Ugh. Dreamworld.
Anyway.
Just in case you didn’t get your donut fix last weekend, here’s a new recipe to try this week. Besides jelly donuts and maple donuts, cinnamon sugar donuts theeee best. You’re allowed to have 3 favorite donut varieties. I’m not sure if you knew that.
