Firstly, my name isn't T A. It's Trevor. I write under the androgynous name T A Williams because 65% of books are read by women. In my first book, "What Happens in Devon" one of the (female) characters suggests the imbalance is due to the fact that men spend too much time getting drunk and watching football. I couldn't possibly comment. Ask my wife...
I've written all sorts: thrillers, historical novels, short stories and now I'm enjoying myself hugely writing romance and Cozy Mysteries. Romantic comedies are what we all need from time to time. Life isn’t always very fair. It isn’t always a lot of fun, but when it is, we need to embrace it. If my books can put a smile on your face and maybe give your heartstrings a tug, then I know I’ve don

It's really nice of you to take the time to contact me. As far as romance is concerned, the place is really far less important than the person but there are, I have to admit, a few places that do definitely lend themselves to romance. I suppose my number one would probably be Venice. There is something about the place – as well as romance, there is history, culture, tradition and just the sheer outstanding beauty of it. As far as my own personal experience of romance is concerned, I met my wife in the classroom (before you write to the authorities, I should point out that I was teaching adults in an evening class) so maybe a classroom should be added to the list after Venice.
Thanks again for getting in touch and I am delighted you like my work. Trevor(less)

The bad news is that the clifftop restaurant is totally the fruit of my imagination. That part of the Mediterranean coast between Nice and Italy is absolutely stunning, very inaccessible (apart from my boat – or seaplane!) and I just felt there had to be a special millionaires’ restaurant there. But, I’m afraid it’s just imagination. Thanks again and sorry to disillusion you.(less)

Confessions of a blog virgin

If anybody out there happens upon this, please forgive my inexperience in such matters. This is my first attempt at blogging. Or should that be blog posting? Or maybe posting a blog? Or on a blog? Anyway, since Carina UK published my first book (Dirty Minds) in the autumn of 2013, I have been on a very steep learning curve as far as social media are concerned. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would sugges Read more of this blog post »

Thanks a lot, Linda. As you can probably tell, I have a long and lasting love of Italy and of Tuscany in particular. I lived and worked in Florence for four years and take every opportunity to go back and visit friends over there. Florence is indeed See Full Answer
