“Writers often have the cleanest windows, floors, fridges and toilets, the most up-to-date filing system or the best record for returning calls or e-mails because, in the moment, just about any task seems more palatable than sitting down to write.” (p.136)”

Mark LOL. Had a beard earlier in life. Shaved it off 16 years ago. This one sort of kicked in by itself in January. I only just got a bearded pic that was good enough to post.

Mark Tucson is great. I love Sabino Canyon!

I left Montreal in the early '80s. Was there last about 2 years ago.

For me, the greatest appeal of Albuquerque is the Sandias. In fact, I'm looking at a view of them right now out my window. (Trailhead across the street!)

Edna Little Fish In Running Waters Spring Hi Mark David, Thank You for being my Friend!
I have been to Montreal, when I could speak French, back in the early 1960's, but living in Tucson for the last 35 years, I have lost it.
Do you find living in Albuquerque inspires your writing? I haven't been there in ashile, but there are parts that would me, if they are still population free!
