TBR Woes
So… my TBR pile is out of hand.
(Okay, this is actually piles of books that needed to be put away - I did - but it's apretty fair estimation of what I've got left to read....)
Honestly
I was going to say it’s getting out of hand, but it’s been out of hand
since the last time I talked about it and I’m pretty sure it’s not
getting any smaller without some serious dedication.

Giveaway: ARC of Chorus
Everybody loves free stuff, right? So let's have a giveaway!
Last year, I read and loved Coda by Emma Trevayne, so when I heard the sequel was coming out, I was ecstatic.
Chorus by Emma Trevayne
Even after eight years have passed and the sea and surf of Los Angeles have had time to heal her, Alpha continues to be haunted by nightmares of her single exposure to the Corp’s

Jumping Genres
A
while back, someone asked me about my daily word counts. They remarked
on the fact I was able to get upwards of 4k/day consistently.
There are people out there with a much better work ethic than me that bust out far more words than I do each day.
But
to answer the question of how I do it, the short answer is I’m
neurotic. The slightly longer answer has to do with jumping genres.

Editing, Editing, Editing...
On
Monday, I sat down at my computer and busted out what should be the
second to last go through on my next novel. The process of inputting
changes is always interesting because each of my editors makes notes and
changes in their own way. One is very note heavy, one only really makes
a note to add commentary to the story – which I love – and another just
highlights things and we talk them

Some random things....
If you follow my page on Facebook, you'll have seen the general gist of how my writing's been going lately. I'm pretty pleased with the progress, which is always a good thing. There are still some random wedding-related things that are taking up a bunch of my time, but they're pretty manageable to this point.
Wonderful beta Jenna got me back the latest edit on my next release, so that's heading

On My Plate
One of the things that keeps me a) sane and b) busy, is that I have a lot of things to work on.
That is a zoomed out view of my "Works in Progress" spreadsheet. To make it onto this list a book has to have a first draft started... or 5+ pages of prewriting done. With the exception of the Flynn series (top three green, and the darker blue scattered throughout), I try to work on things

April Showers Bring May... Books?
Let's be completely honest, I live in the middle of a desert. There are no showers to bring anything in May.
April's Round-up
Reading:
Goal - 15 books
Reality - 9 books
I've spent this last week with the same book in my purse. It's been there since Friday last. Clearly something is wrong with that picture. I did great the first two weeks of the month, and then it all kind of ground to a halt.

Binge Reading and Patricia Briggs
Occasionally, I run across a series that has been going strong for years, and I'm late to the party. This makes me sad and happy, all at the same time.Sad because HOW COULD I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS? and happy because I get to shotgun the whole thing. From December 28th, 2013 until... well, now, I've made my way through these 10 books by Patricia Briggs. They make up almost 1/3rd of the books I've
