5 star review
I love 5 star reviews. They have become my best-est thing ever. Not only does it mean someone bought the book, but that they LIKED it. Really! Though I will say fours are pretty good too, I must tell the truth, I have a special place in my heart for 5 stars- and the people who take the time to write them. And I didn't have to pay them or anything!
In case it wasn't clear, the books are doing excellent. Both of them. Keeping Her is holding steady in both the Military and Shapeshifter Romance top 100. Usually around 15 and 35 respectively. But my new book just made the top 100 in the Shapeshifter Romance as well. #95 baby! Woohoo!
Anyway, still working on my new ones. "Loving Her" is going really well. "The Journey's end" not so much and the story previously known as the Island "At One's Pleasure" is fighting with "Loving Her" to see which will be ready to edit first.
And No mom, you can't read them.

It's all good.
"Loving Her" is flying along. That one will be ready soon. (To Edit-Don't get too excited yet!)
"The Dragon's Mage" is selling extremely well and I finally received my first review. It was 5 stars. Yay! Thanks whoever you are. So everything is good.
Plus I had to laugh because mom tried to read "The Dragon's Mage" (Even though I warned her.) She had to stop at the first love scene because, and I quote: "I'm 65 years old, I don't need my blood pressure hitting the roof like that. Thought I was going to have a heart attack." Let that be a warning to you. It's smokin' hot.
"The Island" which I need to re-name big time is also almost finished and will have a small tie in with the "Keeping Her" Universe. Very small but since they are all shapeshifters in my made-up world, they have to be consistent.
The Journeys End is driving me crazy.
I'm not sure if action scenes or love scenes are harder to get right but they are definitely both in the running. Right now I'm working on action in this book and I need to get going. It doesn't help that I'm re-writing work I wrote already and lost (see earlier blog). I'm blocked because I already wrote it, I know that's what it is.-Dang it! It was so good the first time.
But I will PERSEVERE.
And since my books are flying off the digital shelves, and my reviews continue to be excellent. I refuse to sweat these minor set backs. Anyway, wish me luck., and I'll keep you posted.
On a high note, I made more on my writing in the first two days of August then I made in the last two weeks of work at my regular job. I am taking the plunge. I told my boss at work that I will be going to part time after the Holidays.
Which means I will be writing full time.
Think of the trouble I can get in to then!

Keeping up.
So I received my first 3 star review on Keeping Her. My editing still leaves much to be desired. Didn't capitalize all my Demons. I fixed it, so thanks for pointing it out. The funny thing is such a small thing can make you doubt yourself. After I sold about a 100 copies I had to go through and change a lot of typos and missed editing issues. So the people who got my book after the first week will have a better edited book than the poor unfortunate souls who bought it the first week-Love you guys, by the way. Anyway, these are all things I can fix, so I will go into my next release better edited and eventually I'll find a system that works, (or be able to afford a professional proofreader). But it did worry me a bit, because I was always a good editor, and since I'm just starting out I get these crazy thoughts running through my head-its going too well. My next book is going to totally flop. I only think I'm going to make a living doing this because that would be WONDERFUL. - I can't keep up with all the rigamarole going through my head when I get all panicky.
But then I open up an e-mail and someone from far away tells me I am an automatic buy, or that they read Keeping Her and can't wait! for the next one so I need to write faster! Or my Blog has a comment from someone who encourages me to keep it up. I get a great review from someone enthusiastic in their enjoyment of my book, and a Facebook "Like", or, well you get the idea. You are all inspiring me and making me laugh and in some cases, cry really happy tears, so thanks, I can not tell you what your messages have meant to me.
For those who seem to want a daily update, I'll be finished with "Loving Her" this month. And after extensive editing it will be released, at the latest, September 1st. If that changes, you guys who read my blog, or are on my e-mail new release list, will be the first to know.
