Group Reading "At One's Pleasure"
I am excited to say that the ménage reading group has chosen "At One's Pleasure," for their next group read. I will be doing an author thread with them, and that got me thinking about starting the same type of thing on my twitter account.
So...if you have any comments or questions about any of my books you can tweet them to me at kellylucille1 on twitter.
I'll also be having the occasional contest and updates on upcoming releases, for those that are interested in such things.

If someone had a webcam on me, this would be what they would see when I am writing. The Bird is Billy Bones and the pitbull mix in the background, hiding from the bird, is Spartacus Jackson. Presently the door is closed and the rest of my crazy life is locked out so I can get some writing done. "Beatrice and Douglas," is progressing nicely. It will be done soon, and then the editing phase will begin, remember I am employing a professional editor for the first time and I have no idea how long that will take. But, I'm excited about this. I have quit my job and am writing full time, but hiring a professional editor makes me feel 'bonafide.'
So: "Beatrice and Douglas" first in February. Then "Web of Bones," from the Dragon Mage Series, and then "Claiming Her," from the Keeping Her Series. When I have more approximate dates for these I will post them.

Christmas is coming...yay! Plus,I need more time!
Between doctors appointments for my mom, trying to get the house ready for Christmas, plus a project I like to call: "Finish building the house you live in," which admittedly I have not contributed to all that much but is supposed to be completed by the end of December, shopping, shopping and more shopping,( because we all know you shop for your people and then you shop with everyone else for their people), and finally, writing -which is supposed to be my full time job and this month seems to be relegated to cute little hobby I get to when I'm not busy. Sigh. I have to ask myself how I did all of this and a full time job last year!
Don't get me wrong, I am so not complaining. I have absolutely nothing to complain about, everyone is healthy (if you don't count stress from the "Finish the house you live in" project), my mom is doing amazingly well, and when I can finally sit down and put my fingers to the keys, my writing is going great. I was a tad worried a book without shapeshifters, or magic powers might be boring to write, but luckily for me, Beatrice is a spitfire and Douglas is HOT.
So...I'm going to get back to that. I hope you all liked the new flow of my website. Got that in there before the madness really started.
...and Loving Her is now available on the Nook, plus...I blogged.
Anyway, to all of you full-time workers, and mothers, (or fathers, as the case may be.), home improvement amateurs, care-givers to the elderly, and the time management challenged, God bless us one and all... Plus...Christmas! Yay!

The Next One
The Next book "Beatrice and Douglas" has been moved from a December publication date to January. My books are going to take longer to release from now on. That's the bad news. The good news is that all future books will be professionally edited. Thanks for sticking with me through the hard editing times. From now on a black heart will not be a hart and he will be stalking her, not stocking... and so forth. I can not tell you how much I appreciate the fans who have purchased the books and given me good reviews despite the editing. From now on smooth sailing.
So to the schedule.
Tentative Release dates:
Beatrice and Douglas Jan1-15
Web Of Bones (Dragon Mage) March 2014 Melisande and General Solan
Claiming Her (Keeping Her) May 2014 Lucas Gibbs and Miley Isabella Rose
Salvage Rights (From "The Journeys End" Worlds Series) Completely new characters introduced, but a few of the others will pop up.
and after that... Yes, we still have quite a few books in the "Keeping Her" series, and, at least one more "Dragon Mage."
I have to expand my website as well, to fit in all the books and coming soons, so there will be some changes made in you care to check it out. I will also have some new teaser chapters for the upcoming releases soon. Including, but not limited to, the ones mentioned here. And yes, that includes Claiming Her.

The Journeys End has been reached.
I know the title of this blog has issues, deal with it. The main thing is "The Journey's End" is done and off to the Editor. Very excited about that. So now all we are waiting for is the proofreader to do her business, hopefully in a timely fashion, and all of you who have been waiting oh, so patiently, can hopefully enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
It is a Romance, first and foremost, but there is action and the interaction between Nori and Menelaus cracked me up at times, so I hope you find it funny. It has a paranormal element in that she is a shape-shifter and he has his own gifts. There is time spent on a planet that appears to resemble a type of medieval feudal system, so-hot guys with swords, and then we get to meet some space marines and a mercenary, who may or may not be a villain, but mostly the story is about a man and a woman who fight each other and themselves to discover that all the things that make them different from other people, are the very things that make them perfect for each other. I hope you enjoy it.
I will e-mail and Facebook as soon as it is out on Amazon.

Too busy writing to blog!
Many people are wondering what is happening with the next book, "The Journey's End". So very close to being done. It should be done this week and out next week, if my editor can get to it fast, otherwise soon after.
These characters are flying right now so I don't want to go into too much detail, other than to assure all those who asked...soon.

My next character.
Since I am already getting the question, my next book, "The Journey's End," will be out within the next two weeks. Yay! I know I have mentioned this before, but I love being able to write on future worlds, really anything can happen. This is a stand alone but I am digging this secondary character that has propped up who is a Mercenary/Pilot, so he may eventually get his own book. We shall see. I do know among my favorite female characters, and I do love them all, Nori is definitely up at the top. SHE KICKS ASS. Fun all around for me, and hopefully you.

Trouble on the ranch
Some of you die hard fans, or new lookers, may have noticed that my book "At One's Pleasure" was pulled from Kindle. I know because I had people leaving me messages on Facebook telling me they were reading my sample and it disappeared. I think I have the mystery solved. Jacob wants to impress Rebecca so he quotes Emily Dickinson, originally the mention of who wrote the poem is a few lines away from the quote so Kindle saw this as me stealing from Emily, who is one of my favorites, and something I would not want to do, at all. So I moved the Emily Dickinson reference so that it blares obviously rather than subtly in my revision, but...I am still waiting on an answer from Kindle about this, so I'm not sure if they allow the book back after its kicked or not. In any case I am happy to know that the copyright laws are so stringent on Kindle publishing. I just wish they would communicate a little more.
If you are looking to buy the book follow the link from my books page by clicking the picture. It will be released on Nook within the week, and Kindle too hopefully, just not sure how long it will take.

Random blogs and new book progress.
There are very few things to comment on that all of you who follow my blog don't already know. But it has been a few days, so just thought I would let you know that I am working and it is going well. I am loving my new book, and not just because the female lead kicks serious ass. I will say it is entirely cool to get to live vicariously through such a character as Nori from "The Journeys End." My female characters tend to be sassy, she is beyond that, as in- she is a little scary, but since I get to be her for long periods of writing, it works out well. I, myself am not bad-ass so it's a nice change.
Menelaus is seriously, smoking hot. Really. But beyond that, I love writing on different worlds because I can spend some time with a character who fights with a sword and lives in a stone castle, then they are dealing with Mercenary space captains and anything else that comes at them. And it is definitely anything goes when you are planet hopping. And its not beyond the realm of all possibility, I mean I write about dragons and shapeshifters and magic users, what's a little intergalactic hanky panky?
Incidentally, if you haven't already voted on who you enjoyed the most out of Rebecca's three guys, now is your chance. So far Linc is ahead on my Facebook page. But, I only have two votes and one of them is from my favorite crazy stalker fan and she says she changes her mind every time she reads it. Amber, if you are reading this, feel free to vote each time you re-read. I firmly believe if you re-read my book that many times you deserve to be heard in triplicate (or how ever many times you want).

Something a little different
Hope you are all enjoying "At One's Pleasure." It was an interesting write for me because I had actually started that one long before the Keeping Her series and put it aside for awhile. It amazed me how well Cleo and Logan fit into the story and what they added to it when I got around to working in the security aspects of the book.
The next book, "The Journey's End," is a futuristic romance. I like to write about distant worlds sometimes because all bets are off, anything goes, and if I want to write about sword wielding kings and star ship flying mercenaries going head to head for the love of a shapeshifting heroine (who can totally kick ass), I can.
And before you ask- November is The Journeys End, December is Beatrice and Douglas, January is Web of Bones(Dragon Mage), and Lucas Gibbs and Miley Isabella Rose will finally have their story, Claiming Her, in February of 2014. These dates are not set in stone but I'm ever hopeful no new crisis will occur to derail my progress.
In the mean time enjoy, and let me know
