My favorite Lion
I have been getting a lot of "how are you doings"- subtle, and low key though they are, I thought I would take a second from finishing up "Claiming Her" to respond. The baby shower was awesome. The decorations, that the aunts and Michelle made, and that myself and Ariel put up, AWEsome. And besides that, the food was scrumdidliumptious, the house presentable. So...all went well. People showed, they played games and won prizes. All good. Then I slept for like 16 hrs. Luckily, not during the shower, which was a worry.
Now to the "Claiming Her" update:
I have a lot of fun writing my books. Always. Right up until that dreaded editing phase, where I freak out and figure no one is going to like it, blah-blah-blah. I am not there yet, so I am riding a writing high and it is GOOD.
A few answers to questions sent to me: This book will be longer than both "Keeping Her" and "Loving Her". You will get a chance to see the interaction between all previous characters, (including getting to see the pack from "At One's Pleasure" again.)and I do love it when the Lionsgate pack gets together- Hilarity ensues.
There are hints of the dynamics between Shawn and Cleo, and as is my way- A foreshadowing of the next adventure to come.
No, Essie does not make an appearance in this book, unless she jumps out at me in the end, which could happen I suppose, but I'm thinking not. Yes, Lucas is over the top Alpha badass and the sex is hot. If I did not get to your question you can tweet or Facebook me and I will answer ass quick as can be.
Now, the number one most asked question in the history of the Keeping Her series: Lucas' story "Claiming Her" will be out...
(drum roll here) No idea. But lets shoot for June 25th and realistically it will probably be more like the 4th of July.
Get ready for some fireworks people.

Claiming Her and other updates
I have not written in, like, a week. I am having serious withdrawals. And I know you guys get impatient but- Don't throw things at my head! I can still make my self imposed deadline-ish. The baby shower is Saturday night, the yard has been revamped, the house will be spotless and all the decorations made and up. Sunday (after church), I will begin an intense writing journey of epic proportions, were I will finish "Claiming Her" and get it off to the editor. My family will understand why they never see me. The dogs can hold it a few days, and I could stand to lose a few pounds anyway; perhaps fasting is the way to go?
So to recap- "Claiming Her" will be out in June(ish). Then "Salvage Rights" should be out in September/October, and I am really hoping to get "Fire The Blood" (Dragon Mage book III) out this year as well. In the mean time I have some contest winners who are still waiting for the "swag" I promised them, and that should be in the mail as soon as the baby shower extravaganza is finished, so next week.
I would like to say that it will all be smooth sailing from there, but you would all just snicker and shake your collective heads at my naivete. So, lets just hope for the best, shall we?

Fire The Blood
"Fire the Blood" will be the next in the Dragon Mage series coming. No idea when it will be released yet, I am hoping for Christmas, but just having a title I like relieves my mind. I mean it has to work with the characters and it has to be super cool and mysterious, because well-I said so. Now I just have to get a cover going on this baby and I will be all set to write it, after Claiming Her and Salvage Rights, of course. Thinking of having a contest to see who can guess which of the characters will be the stars of this one just from the title. Stay tuned people, facebook or twitter. You might win the prize (which I have also not decided on)
"Claiming Her", as you know is the one I am working on now. Love this one. Really enjoy writing this whole series. They just make me laugh and they are such over the top MEN. May have to introduce new characters soon to keep it going after Shawn, Cleo, Eli, Logan and Ian have their shots. And no, I am still not writing a romance for Essie-Deal with it.
Web of Bone in print has been proofed and is back at the publisher, I am working on a different cover, so there will be a slight delay. Probably next week that it will be released, not this one.
Hope everyone has a good mothers day. I know I intend to use it as an excuse to eat chocolate and watch sappy movies on tv. May you all enjoy the same.

Great happenings
In case you missed the Raw books take over- here is the cover of the next Keeping Her Book after Claiming Her. Claiming Her will be out in June. No date yet on this one, because I still have Salvage Rights coming next and then the next Dragon Book will probably be after that. Everyone was wondering who the next story in both the Keeping Her and The Dragon Mage Series would be. Well I'm going to keep you guessing on the Dragon Series, even though yes. I know. But I announced last night that Cleo and Shawn would be book four of the Keeping Her. (And yes, I know how you Logan fans are booing right now.)Speaking of that take-over, thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who came over, it was a blast and I was so busy responding that I actually went over an hour, even though I was deathly afraid I would be sitting there saying "Hello, anybody there?" while the tumbleweed rolled by.
It was AWESOME, and if I'd had a margarita it would have been a party. Thanks Raw Books for letting a complete stranger take over your Facebook page for hours. It was lovely.
So to recap on release dates: "Claiming Her" is coming the beginning of June. Ooh, that's coming up. Best get to writing.
"Web of Bones" will be out in print in just a few days. Thank you for all the lovely reviews.
The other books, Loving Her and The Dragon Mage will be out in print soon as well, let's shoot for August of September on those.
For those who are waiting for "Salvage Rights" - I know, me too. That should also be around August or September, we will see what life wants to throw at me in the meantime.

When it rains...and all that.
Well after the house was successfully finished we have all been, shall we say...broke. So of course yesterday I got a flat tire, which I changed myself. My first successful change I might add. (Felt very empowering) then since that is not enough, on the way to Easter service with my mom today my car decided it did not like to go uphill. At all. In fact it flatly refused to do so.
With visions of either 1000.00 to fix it, again, or a new car $$$ I was a little upset. But it's Easter and I have a lemon cake to make and a barbque this afternoon with family. The same family who picked us up and took us to get gas, just in case the stupid meter was off, and towed us home. Did I mention my cousin is married to a mechanic? I love my cousin's husband. In fact he makes me want to marry a mechanic too. Mechanics, as you all have to know, are a gift of the Lord- at least they are when they are related to you and are just generally nice guys anyway. Having a great guy who is also a mechanic in the family means I can't really complain. Plus, I have been broke lots of times and I didn't have a new back deck to show for it, so there you go. Glass half full.
Moving on. Today is going to be a good day-or else. You know what I'm saying?
Good news- Claiming Her is awesome. I will admit to being a little worried, I mean lets face it, most of my fan mail is about the Keeping Her series. And it seems I get questions daily about the next one, or when Cleo will have her own book, or Logan, or well, you get what I'm saying. So I really want this one to meet all those high expectations. So far I know I am loving it so I hope you will too.
Strangely enough I will have Web of Bones out in Print this week. I know The Dragon Mage is not out yet but this one was already professionally edited so its basically ready to go.-So you get it first. And on Wednesday I will be giving away prizes of autographed copies of my books in print. Namely Keeping Her, Beatrice and Douglas, and of course, Web of Bones.
You can win this if you follow my take over of the Rawbooks website. There will be trivia and random prizes for people who send me questions and so forth, and I will have a sneak peak of Claiming Her that no one has seen. Not the first chapter people, a scene in the book with Lucas Gibbs and Miley Isabella Rose. In case you are like me and like that sort of thing.
You can check me out of Rawbooksonline.com on April 23rd, from 8pm-10pm. I am hoping people actually show up because otherwise I will be sitting there crying lonely tears thinking "doesn't anybody like me?" and no doubt eating chocolate. It could get very ugly. plus- PRIZES people, PRIZES. I am not above bribery here.

There is just something about a shapeshifter.
It is almost the middle of April and all is well. Claiming Her is the most fun I've had writing since, well... Keeping Her and Loving Her.
Not to say my Dragons are not fun to write, they do have their moments. (I cracked up when they showed up with that wagon Plus Lux is a hoot.) But they are not contemporary and the characters reflect that old world feel. Whereas with the Keeping Her series I get to be as modern and nutty as I want to be. And I do like to be nutty.
I have to say a quirky heroine is always my favorite to write and when I get to have more than one in the same space things tend to get entertaining. Plus, Lucas is a Lion, used to being in charge, AND a total Viking marauder, so watching him work for it is HOT and hilarious. Case in point, without giving the story away I can say he has to go head to head with Griffin Hale (At One's Pleasure). Sigh...If I could have managed a good reason for them to have this talk shirtless my night would have been made.
Anywho, Web Of Bones is doing well. I haven't received too many reviews but they have all been excellent. Hope you all liked that one. And in case you were wondering the next Dragon story is going to feature a certain hot huntsman/Fire Mage and the mysterious Asha, who may or may not be on the right side.
But first we have Claiming Her coming around the beginning of June, and then Salvage Rights after that, and if you haven't read the excerpt for that one, I highly recommend it. Space Pirates, yummy.

Web Of Bones is Live on Amazon.
Just spreading the news that the second Dragon Mage book is available to purchase on Amazon. Hope you like it. It came out at midnight and some very tired and might I say lovely lady already finished it and gave it a great review. This is especially impressive because it is almost twice the size of The Dragon's Mage. Thanks to everyone who is waiting for it. I love the encouragement.

So many good things.
Exciting things going on! First, Web of Bones will be out to buy tomorrow. Woop-Woop! I hope you get as much joy out of it as I did. It was certainly interesting writing this one, because Melly is such a different character than most of the fiery females I write. Not to say she is a push over or anything, but she is softer, and because of her past, a bit more fragile. If you have read my work you know the characters tend to meet, connect instantly, and fall right into bed (bow-chicka-wow-wow). Because of what Melisande has to deal with, the pace on this one is a little different. But I LOVED these two together, so I hope you do too.
Second, not that this is of the remotest interest to all of you, but the house passed its final inspection!! After all these years, we are done. It is built, and we have a deck too!
And Finally, Claiming Her is next. Can I just say Lucas Gibbs-yummm... 6ft 5 Alpha Male badass x-seal team commander who shows up like a marauding Viking to claim his chosen mate.
--I mean if you like that sort of thing.
As soon as I have the tentative date on that release I will post it on twitter and facebook, and probably this website too. In the mean time enjoy the dragons. I know I do.
