She wasn’t supposed to change me, push me, and make me want more for myself. She wasn’t supposed to wreck me in all ways. And now, if I can’t turn my lies into truth, I just might lose her forever...
~*~ My Review~*~I loved this book, I very much enjoyed getting to know James and Quinn, and I wanted to step into their world of sun and water and love. I have read many New Adult novels then have the theme of a bet that is made at the beginning and then comes to light later causing huge problems, however this story line was brilliant. I loved how the bet was resolved and how each character reacted. Instead of reacting in a more damaging way and causing hurt and months of distrust, the characters did something even better. Sometimes the book tends to feel juvenile, this one did not! It was excellent. James was a different kind of male in which he was tortured in a emotional way and it made what happens between them feel even deeper... I am hoping beyond all hope for more, and I really want to know what will happen with Cassie and her mystery guy and Mac and Austin. This book made spring break even more fun, even with the intense feelings, I want to head to Florida now! I give this book 5 huge sunny and sandy stars!

I loved watching my two main characters Jaiden and Dani on their journey to love...
Jaiden takes a step towards me and lays his hands on my arms. �“I promise,�” he vows. �“I really like you, and I am more sorry than you know that I didn�’t tell you everything at first.�”
I feel my stomach flutter and my face flush in pleasure.
�“You like me huh?�” I ask, feeling brave.
Jaiden takes a step closer and nods, smirking a bit at me. �“I do, and I meant it when I told you that you�’re beautiful. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen,�” he says looking down at me, his face close to mine, and I feel my eyes drop to his lips.
I swoon almost every time Jaiden speaks to Dani a little naughty yet so adorable...
�“I would like to be with you as you learn to trust me again,�” he says after a moment of silence and I frown, wondering what exactly he means.
�“What do you mean?�” I finally sputter out, after trying to find the right way to phrase my question.
�“I would like to be with you, by your side, as your potential bond,�” he says, sounding confident though his eyes give away his nerves.
Is he asking me out?
�“Are you asking me out, I mean like as my boyfriend?�” I ask slowly.
He frowns at me this time then looks as if he is searching for a word. �
“For humans, is a boyfriend the same as a lover?�” he asks and I feel my cheeks flame with his direct question.
I clear my throat. �“Ah, yes, that would be correct.�”
He grins then nods. �“Then yes, I would like to be your boyfriend.�
�“What would you call us then, if Zoku doesn�’t use the term boyfriend?�” I wonder out loud, still feeling heat in my cheeks.
�“What do you mean call us?�” he asks, looking confused.
�“Well, are we dating? Are we a couple?�” I ask, just throwing phrases out. �“If another guy so much as looks at me, are you going to flip out?�” I ask, grinning now because he looks so cute with the confusion written all over his face.
He frowns down at me for a moment then shrugs. �“I would say we are lovers,�” he answers bluntly and my mouth drops open again.
He reaches over and gently closes my mouth for me, but promptly presses his lips against mine. I sink into his kiss and am amazed at the depth of emotion I have. I wrap my arms around his neck and feel the length of his body against mine.
I think you will be smitten with this book and it's characters, because there is an underlying message of hope, love and happiness, along with action, romance, betrayal, and intrigue.

“Babe we can’t,” he somehow managed to punch out. Voice gravelly, he drew his hands back to safer territory and said roughly, “You're hurting and your emotions have gone through the wringer tonight. I can't take advantage of you like that.” And yet still, he couldn’t bear to let her go completely.“Then don't,” she replied simply, arms twining around his shoulders. “Let me take advantage of you.” Jerking back to put some head-clearing distance between them was about as painful as ripping off his own skin. “Sweetheart, why don’t we just hang out tonight? We can sit and talk more about those dickheads we ran into tonight if it’ll help, or we could just watch a movie…anything you want to do.” He quickly snatched her wandering hands as they traveled down his lats and started tugging at the hem of his t-shirt. “Anything except that,” he groaned. “Work with me here, woman.” Raggedly, he put his forehead against hers and counted to ten to try and find the tattered remains of his restraint. The thought almost made him laugh. Who was he kidding? He had no restraint when it came to Tessa. By the fifth second, his lips had already found their way back to hers. And goddammit if her whole body didn’t just tremble right there in his arms.She was just so mind-wreckingly responsive. As usual, without even trying, she was driving him batshit crazy. *~*Review*~*
I really enjoyed this book, it was sweet yet heartbreaking and oh so hopeful! I haven't read any other books from Violet, this is my first. I will say I felt like I was missing information and it was frustrating knowing there are other books before this serries relating to this series and I haven't read them.
I kept reading though completely hooked after the first chapter, Brian sounded super sweet and hot! I enjoyed Tessa very much and her struggle to breakout of what to her is the unfortunate norm. It was hard to read about Abby and Connor and not really know what happened, Abby was mentioned just as someone that Brian liked as more than friends, but then now doesn't. A bit more background would have been great, for those who haven't read the other books.
I loved the added parts about Jilly and Skylar and hope to read more about them in a future book, I need to know what happens!
I will definitely read more of Violet's books in the future, they are wonderful lighthearted romance mixed with very heavy issues and potential heartbreak. Very good, I give it 5 bright stars.

*~*My Review*~* Loved this book! I have to state that because it was my favorite so far. I loved each of the married to a billionaire books, and when I heard there was to be a spin off I was like YAY!
Jennifer did not disappoint at all. The two main characters are a couple who I don't think we had met before, if so it was in passing like a mention, but nothing else. I enjoyed getting to know both Slade and Kate. I really liked the slight paranormal aspect with the 'touch'.
It expanded on the book of spells, and helped show a bit different take on the world Jennifer has so wonderfully created. I loved Slade he was the typical bad boy/non-committal turned prince charming. Kate was a wonderful heroine, and even though a couple times I wanted to shake her, I loved it more because of that. This book is full of emotion and heart.
We get a small glimpse of our favorite characters from previous books, allowing us a hit of why we fell in love with Jennifer's writing!
Overall a 5 star review, and I recommend to all who love romance stories!
