Last night following a serious amount of coffee drinking I decided to take up the post of Admin on the 'Book Lovers' page on Facebook.

Today the membership grew by 40% and I've not stopped all day....Not because of me per se, moreover due to it requiring a little admin TLC!!

So many of us are afraid to speak out, reach out and admit their issues through fear of being labelled.

These last few weeks I have mustered the courage to do all of those things and been surprised and elated by the response from fellow writers, readers and often random strangers.

I'm becoming the old me again but wanted to share this post of what took place last night. It restores faith in human kindness. All is not lost. In fact quite the opposite.

Having just taken over as Treasurer of the Lancashire Authors Association I thought it apt to learn more about the history, the opportunities for writers and some of the former members of the Association which is steeped in history and tradition but available to all, whether UK based or otherwise!
