Dee Ann Waite writes action adventure thrillers. Her first novel, The Consequential Element is a military action thriller (with a touch of romance) that takes the reader on a full throttle international ride from the streets of Boston to the jungles of the Congo.

Her second novel, Mists of Bayou Rhyne is a Young Adult thriller set in the Mississippi Bayou. This is the first installment in the Rhyne Heart Thriller Series, and is slotted for release in March 2015.

Her intense interest in psychology, along with her studies in that area, have led her to her third novel, a psychological thriller titled Where Demons Hide, scheduled for release late 2015. This is the first installment of a three book series.

It has allowed me to speak on the subject as well as write on it, and offered several distinct opportunities to meet prominent people in the law enforcement, which of course, has advanced my knowledge even further. Crime is a terribly dark world, and not one I like to stay behind the scenes in for any length of time, but learning about it is an amazing eye opening experience. My recent studies are on psychopathy and sociopathy - two areas that intrigue me immensely.

With your past experience, I bet you'll have endless subjects / cases to write about. Be sure to learn the craft of writing well. An interesting story doesn't necessarily mean a saleable book. If there is anything I can do to assist, please let me know. I know many great and talented people in this industry who are also willing to help new authors. :)

I wish you all the best.

"An okay read

Pacing was a bit slow. Just didn't draw me in. Found myself skimming. I did like a the bits of storyline with Derrick. He was my fave character.

This was an enjoyable read, but I did find quite a bit of repetition which sort of annoyed me. Mr. Koontz's style of writing is easy, smooth, and fluid enough to keep me in the story, especially during the action, however I found his descriptive writ ...more

“Lately I've become so damned distracted that I can't make a decision about anything. I can't think clearly. I've got knots in my stomach, and constant pains in my chest, and whenever I see you talking to any man, or smiling at anyone, I go insane with jealousy. I can't live this way.
