But I am a sucker for the understated romance, the English stiff upper lip and the snappy dialogue ala Jane Austen. No overt sex, no bodice ripping, just a good, clean story with great dialogue with an undercurrent of passion. If there is a duke or duchess or even a commoner, a strong female heroine, an equally strong, but not overbearing male hero and the chance of some romantic entanglements, I’m all for it. Claudia Harbaugh It's a pleasure to meet you, Lucinda. Her Grace in Disgrace will be winging it's way to you, soon. Though it will take a bit longer to reach the UK! The male protagonist in the book was a vicar who had a living in Surrey! I do hope you enjoy the book and would be thrilled if you wrote a review for it here on Goodreads and on Amazon as well.
Look forward to more chatting with you,
Claudia

Lucinda Dear Claudia,
Thanks so much for acepting the friendship request here on Goodreads. As a fan of historical fiction i am delighted to have won a copy of your novel 'her grace in disgrace' (catchy title!), and i am really looking forward to reading and discovering your work. Keep an eye out for comments and reviews of your book too.
Kind Regards
Lucinda Xx

Claudia Harbaugh You're welcome Jill! I do love both of those authors and reread their books even though I know the ending!

message 1: by Jill

Jill Lovely to meet another Elizabeth Peters, and Agatha Christie fan, Claudia, and thank you very much for your friendship.
