Author Interview

Since today is the Blue Moon and so a rare and special day. I wanted to celebrate my friend's new release!

Caught in a Stilled Flame is a post-apocalyptic story set in what could be considered the not so distant future. Even though it is a departure from the romance and magic I typically enjoy, what I loved about this book was the writing and the captivating characters, so much so that I wanted to share it with you all.

Blue Moon!


I'm waiting with anticipation for the Blue Moon coming tomorrow. It's going to be a creation day for me. Devoted to writing and editing as I'm thinking this rare lunar event will help spark some creative flow.  In honour of that I wanted to do a few things to celebrate. You can check out an article written on CNN about the Blue Moon to see how rare this event can be. I also checked out this Astronomy Video for more information on moon viewing, very informative!

Today is a writing day!

I'm sitting in my office, looking outside at a pale grey sky, and watching rain drizzle down. Everything outside of my window is saturated and looking lively. Even the shallow puddles are small mirrors for the leaves of the trees rustled by the wind. Today is a writing day, a good day, and even mother nature is letting me know.

Countdown is on!

So I'm feeling pretty excited that in 4 more days! Eyesight will be out!

I'm entering a period of countdowns, which is a first for me. Usually it is one countdown.. then oh that's done, okay lets get to another writing project. Instead this time there's also 34 more days until Blue Moon Rising is out! So I will likely be doing a lot more of this:
