Happy Holidays!

So I know some of you may be dreading the mad dash of the holiday season but I'm quite excited for the weeks to come. We just got some snow today and I'm finding the cold strangely invigorating.

Challenges of the writing life...

Lately, I've been feeling like I haven't done enough this year, which is strange because as some of you know from my blog posts earlier in 2015, I made writing a priority again. I stated it in a big way by putting out into the universe my plans to finish writing and to publish: Red Velvet, Heart of Shell, Blue Moon Rising, and King of Shadows.

Nanowrimo!

It's that time of year again! One of my favourite months when writers frantically weave words together to create something meaningful an reach the 50k word count goal. National Novel Writing month (Nanowrimo) is here! I have to say that this is one of the best writing opportunities I've ever participated in and that I encourage anyone interested in writing a book to take advantage of all this community has to offer. :)

Book Signing

It has been a very busy month, but I'm loving every minute of it and excited for more to come. With such a beautiful fall, I've been looking for inspiration in the every day and I'm finding it, finally. So this past weekend I took some time to re-align myself with my goals. I asked myself what do I truly want to achieve as a writer and generally out of life? Autumn Magic

It's almost that time of year again when the leaves are turned and the air is cool and crisp and we're ready to wear layers of clothing and scarves and leggings and boots.

If you can't tell already, Fall is my favourite season of the year! It's when I feel most inspired and somehow rejuvenated by everything around me. I blame the beauty of mother nature ; ) Trees and skies always seem enchanted to me and filled with some intangible effervescence.
