Embrace the Winter Blues Webinar
It has been a little while since I've been here to share with you all my writing plans and goals. I've taken a bit of a break from social media to spend more time organizing my life. Lots of exciting, but schedule devoted events have happened for me since then, and now that I feel refreshed and free, I am back!
As promised in my previous posts, I'm getting ready to launch my Embrace the Winter Blues Writing Webinar. Initially, I was planning to complete this over one weekend, but as I acknowle...

Nanowrimo and The Writing Mantra.
It's been a while since I've posted here on the blog. I'm back!
Nanowrimo is here and the magic of non-stop writing has worked it's way into the heart of many writers. This is my favourite time of year, from the leaf changing colours of the fall into the magic of the first snowfall. Inspiration is everywhere in nature and even in the beauty of the recent super moon has left me with a feeling of enchantment.
I've decided that since it's late into the fall that I will postpone my writing seminar...

The Story Continues...
It's been a week of breakthroughs, unexpected moments when creative awareness leapt forward and surpassed my thoughts. We write because we have something to share and I've discovered a few new things I want to share in the near future. My lips are sealed for now, but you know I am pretty good about giving away secrets-- in time, of course.
I am currently working on Silver Starlight and plan to finish it in the next few days. Look forward to a release date announcement within the month. I felt...

A King of Shadows Awakens...
So it is finally here! I am celebrating finally completing The Arzulian Kingdoms series!
After three years of writing, King of Shadows has launched and is available on Smashwords now. Thank you so much to my readers for their patience.
I'll be updating the formatting on that tonight so that it will be forwarded to iBooks, Barnes and Noble and the other distribution channels soon :) Sadly, Kobo was having technical issues when I attempted to load the final version, so I will try again this weeke...

I find that taking action lately has been pleasantly rejuvenating and inspiring. I always felt that sense of accomplishment when I met a goal before, but now there's a deeper sense of satisfaction blooming. Something inexplicable, like I know I'm doing what is the right fit for myself, my writing journey.
With this sense of balance and being, I've decided to share more of my joy. You might gather by now how much I love magic: the wonder and the secretive beauty of it's intricacies. So in celeb...

Walking Off the Beaten Path...
I'm so excited to be in this moment. I've begun developing the structure of the upcoming workshop. It will focus on releasing blocks to your writing success, including tapping into your personal inspiration.
It will take a little bit of time for me to gather things together as I am also working on finishing King of Shadows to be released soon. :)
So I appreciate your patience as things develop. I will definitely keep you informed here and I'll be asking some thinker questions that we'll ex...

Continuous Learning and The Writing Journey
I am inspired. I am writing every day. And there is no going back!
I've experienced some mind shifting in the past few months. Part of the process involved what I mentioned in my previous post about the writer educating yourself, knowing yourself, and empowering yourself. The results are that it has really stretched me personally, and I don't have the same perspective as before. I don't think there's a way to go back either.
This will appeal to some other writers out there, so I want to share w...

Spring Awakening
I find with my personal writing journey that it has involved a lot of ebbs and flows. Finding that right balance has always been an opportunity, and something I've explored. Now I'm starting to realize that I am finding what works well. Gradual steps have gotten things going and that's really where every writer needs to begin. I've stopped measuring success and started to embrace every small triumph, in whatever form that happens to be.
The past few weeks have been wonderfully busy for me. I'm...

Silent Success and Happy Valentines Day!
So I totally acknowledge that I have been MIA for many weeks now! So sorry! (you can tell I'm Canadian right?) I'm back!
Even though I haven't been here on the blog shaking my writing pom poms as usual, I have been getting some things accomplished in ninja stealth mode.
I've connected with my local Chapters Indigo, in order to have my books set up for consignment there. Yay! One small victory for another Indie Author. Look forward to The Mercrutian Chronicles on shelves there shortly as well as...

Happy New Year!
New year! New outlook :)
At last, as promised here is a sneak peek at the cover for Song of Sirens, it's not 100% set in stone, so it may change a wee bit, but I'm so excited to share it with all of you. Thank you again to Jessica Allain for her amazing work!
I've taken some time to reflect on 2015 in order to determine what has worked and what hasn't for my writing plans and approach. It's been extremely helpful! By identifying any areas of opportunity, I was able to think of some clever solut...
