Well, this is my about me :D bout time I put one up too.
I'm a teenage girl from Ireland with a lot of hobbies that include reading, writing, drawing and photography.

So just putting this here, this is my rating system as it is slightly different to goodreads :

★ - did not like at all, not the book for me, I finished it but throughout the course of the book was thinking whether I should give up on it.

★★ - finished but was hard to get through. I liked it enough but it is on the lower side of liking. If this book is the start of a series, I will not be reading the rest of the series.

★★★ - liked with only a few things that bothered me.

★★★★ - really enjoyed, like really enjoyed!!!

★★★★★ - absolutely amazing, unputdownable, a definite read, what mo

Cassandra Clare
“Valentine!"
"You mean father. I despise this modern habit of calling one's parents by their names."
"What I want to call you is a hell of a lot more unprintable than your name."
- Clary Fray and Valentine Morgenstern (City of Ashes)”
Cassandra Clare, City of Ashes

Cassandra Clare
“One must always be careful of books," said Tessa, "and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.”
Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Angel

Cassandra Clare
“Jem seemed to look through her then, as if he were seeing something beyond her, beyond the corridor, beyond the Institute itself. "Whatever you are physically," he said, "male or female, strong or weak, ill or healthy--all those things matter less than what your heart contains. If you have the soul of a warrior, you are a warrior. All those other things, they are the glass that contains the lamp, but you are the light inside." He smiled them, seeming to have come back to himself, slightly embarrassed. "That's what I believe.”
Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Angel

Cassandra Clare
“I believe in good and evil," said Jem. "And I believe the soul is eternal. But I don't believe in the fiery pit, the pitchforks, or endless torment. I do not believe you can threaten people into goodness."

Tessa looked at will. "What about you? What do you believe?

"Pulvis et umbra sumus," said Will, not looking at her as he spoke. "I believe we are dust and shadows. What else is there?”
Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Angel

Cassandra Clare
“Oh, I can never get enough," he said. "Which, incidentally, is what your sister said to me when - "
The carriage door flew open. A hand shot out, grabbed Will by the back of the shirt, and hauled him inside. The door banged shut after him, and Thomas, sitting bolt upright, seized reins of the horses. A moment later the carriage had lurched forth into the night, leaving Gabriel staring, infuriated, after it.”
Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Angel
