Often, something happens during those 15 minutes that…moreTelling myself I only have to spend 15 minutes writing anything, even if it's going to be lousy. Often, something happens during those 15 minutes that leads to ideas about how to break thru the block. Other times, the best thing to do is to leave the project and work on other things, enjoy nature, listen to music, and/or do mundane things like household chores. I suspect sometimes walking away from something and getting distracted by other things allows the project to "percolate" on its own in the creative unconscious mind leading to the solution spontaneously popping into the conscious mind.(less)
