There is a saying about not judging a book by its cover. That definitely applies in the case of this book. The cover and the title of the book give no indication that it is a paranormal romantic suspense. I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading and discovered a well written novel with a lot of depth and action. Fast paced, I read it in one sitting! I love the author’s creative writing style and her unique ideas. Her use of romantic tension between the characters is very stimulating. She also does a great job of taking you inside their heads so you know exactly where they stand. Paranormal romance fans will love “Lyla Evans” by Rhea Sanchez, and look forward to the next book in this series. I think that this would be a great selection for a romance reader’s group!
