I was born in the usual manner and grew up, but only to 5'4". I planned to be a civil engineer or a sports coach or a forensic scientist until I got married, but I got married first and caught a chronic illness shortly thereafter, so I started painting and writing to stop myself going stir crazy. I write what I like reading. Life's too short to take it too seriously, and I'm here to have fun with my writing as with everything else.
I do like writing series because I gain a fondness for my characters and want to pursue their adventures further. I have a heap of Felicia and Robins written, one of which is waiting for me to do the cover - it's a set of short stories, covering a period between more major adventures, while they stay with Sir Godfrey. And I am writing a Jane and Caleb at the moment. I was on hiatus for ages after my mother had a stroke, and I was finding writing very difficult. I finished off a couple of started Regencies recently though - used NaNoWriMo to kickstart myself - and having gained confidence that I CAN write again, returned to Jane and Caleb. And I'm afraid the Midsummer Mysteries, which was ready bar a cover, just got forgotten...
