Angry Robots **Release & Book Blast**

http://www.amazon.com/Connor-London/e/B00KROYSWU Book Blurb:A group of antiquated robots have decided that they've had enough of being treated like 2nd-class citizens. Working together, they take over the sewage plant on Segnal Prime and start pumping the sludge back up into the buildings.

Seeing that this is bordering on a terrorist-level attack, Platoon F is sent in to regain control of the situation.

Captain Don Harr and his team of misfit androids, along with a snot-nosed political liason who has no military training whatsoever, must traverse the underground tunnel systems, take on dog-sized sewer rats, and wrestle control back of the plant while trying to maintain a semblance of sanity as they slosh through loads of crap.

Sometimes it's abundantly clear what the "F" in "Platoon F" truly means.
http://www.amazon.com/Connor-London/e/B00KROYSWU

Harr brought up a visual on his pad and showed them all the route.“Tunnels?” said Jezden. “Tunnels full of shit?”“No other way down there, ensign. Sandoo?”“Sir?”“You take point. Lieutenant Laasel will follow in after you, and then Jezden.”“All right,” said Jezden, rubbing his hands together.“Scratch that,” said Harr, realizing that Jezden was going to spend the majority of his time trying to feel Laasel up. “I’ll follow Laasel. Johnson is behind me.”“SIR! YES, SIR!”Oh, brother.“Jezden, you take up the rear.”“I do not!”Harr rolled his eye, catching the double-meaning that only someone of Jezden’s maturity would have heard. “I mean that you are the last one in the line, soldier!”“Oh…right, okay.”

Reviews for "Platoon F: The SSMC Reluctant", which is the first book in the "Platoon F" series and is what prompted writing "Angry Robots"

"A quick yet evenly paced outer space read with a very catchy end-to-end storyline, sprinkled with the perfect amount of tongue-in-cheek wit to keep it light at all the right intervals. Very easy and entertaining read, with a steady amount of chuckles! Can't wait to read more of his work..." - Amazon Reviewer

"Very fun short book . The path it takes is imaginative and fun finally a new idea in sy fy" - Amazon Reviewer

About the Author:  Connor London is somewhat of a duplicitous fellow. He has ties in both the east and west coast of the United States, though he also seen his fair share of Europe and the Caribbean.
He writes naughty/goofy fiction and prides himself on being irreverent.

An Interview With Author, Calinda B.

Let pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and chat with author, Calinda B.
Where are you from? Born and raised in California, I moved up to the Pacific Northwest many years ago. I live in an area that I call “breathtakingly beautiful,” overlooking trees and water. The Olympic Mountains are in the distance. What inspired you to write your first book? It was a risk taking “coming out” of sorts. I had to get a personal experience out of my system and onto the pages, protecting the innocent by cloaking it in a paranormal story. Do you write full-time or part-time? How do you balance your writing life with your family/work life? I write every single day but I also have a day job. Same chair in the front room accommodates both occupations. ;-) It all works out. I believe in extremes so my form of balance is extreme. How did you come up with the title? My current release is titled Looks like Trouble to Me . It’s all about a sexy as sin bad boy, Jace Savage, who grew up troubled, and seems to attract trouble wherever he goes – hence, the title. He’s a party boy, a yacht builder, a photographer, and, in the first chapter, he’s horny as hell due to the trouble waiting for him at home. I had a lot of fun writing it. Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
Oh, I always have some sort of message. The hero, Jace Savage, wants to change, needs to change, but he’s immersed in habitual ways of being.  He’ll be drawn to change through lust and l-l-love (he has a hard time with the L-Word). My message is always pretty simple – we’re all way more than we think we are, and, if we face ourselves and be willing to change, we might turn the course of our life in ways we never expected. Also, have fun along the way. Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
Everything I write is based in reality somewhere. I have had, and continue to have, a wild life, full of amazing experiences. In this book, I swore up one side and down the other that I would reveal nothing about the person who inspired the book. What books have most influenced your life most?
Hmmm. I love anything by Sue Monk Kidd. You can savor a single sentence for a long time – her writing is that good! I also love the sexy writers like Anais Nin, Karen Marie Moning, and JR Ward. They have paved the way for writers like me to freely express my saucy self. What book are you reading now?
I am reading Butterfly’s Shadow by Lee Langly. It’s not a sexy book – more of a poignant tale of a guy I don’t like (that’s intended by the author), who marries a young fifteen year old Japanese girl in order to get his groove on while he’s stationed in Japan (he’s in the Navy). He’s pretty indifferent to her, her ways, her life, and moves on without much thought. A careless, insensitive man. I’m only a third of the way through, though, and find it a compelling read.   Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?
You know who really rocked my socks? Tahereh Mafi. Wow. I read her Shatter Me series and loved every page. What are your current projects?
Working on a sci-fi novella called Mindspace for a bundled book to be released this summer. Then, I’m going to dive into more trouble with the next Trouble book! As for non-writing related projects, I’m almost an Assistant Scuba Dive instructor – yippee! If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book? No. I love this book. My editor really pushed me to change it, making more conflict throughout. I listened to beta readers, too. I hope you love it as well.

Looks Like Trouble to Me **Exclusive Excerpt** **MATURE CONTENT FOR 18+**

Excerpt, Looks like Trouble to Me: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KIYFKSU

**Mature Content for 18+** At precisely six fifteen, Jace arrived.
She opened the door and greeted him coldly.
“Hi,” he said, grinning widely. He looked at her face and faltered. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong. Come in.” She turned and headed into the living room.
He strode in behind her. “Seems like something’s wrong.”
“It’s nothing.” She pushed aside some pillows and sat on the sofa.
He sat in a chair opposite her.
“Can I get you anything?”
“Yeah, you can tell me what’s wrong. Earlier today you were excited to see me. What happened between then and now?”
She stared at his handsome face. I’m being unreasonable. Give him a chance to explain. She opened her mouth and closed it, pressing it into a tight line. No. Make him explain.
“What the fuck is wrong, Zoé?” he said, his voice as sharp as an ax.
The intensity of his outburst surprised her. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me. What the fuck is wrong? You’re acting like I did something wrong but you’re the only one who knows what it is.”
“I am not,” she retorted.
“Don’t bullshit me, Zoé. I don’t play that way.”
She looked at him, alarmed. “Someone has a temper.”
“I don’t like to be played with. Now tell me what’s going on. Now.”
Her mouth fell open. No-one’s ever talked this way to me. “You tell me,” she challenged. “I want to hear about your trouble. I want to know who Lila is and why you had to rush home to her,” she said in a sarcastic tone, tiny knives of jealousy stabbing her insides.
“Are you jealous?” he asked, incredulous.
“No!” She crossed her arms over her chest.
“You’re jealous. You’re convinced I’m stepping out on you. You think I demanded exclusive rights while I’m playing around.”
“Are you?”
No.”
The word hit her with such force, she jerked. “You look like a wrathful god,” she said in a whisper, stunned by his beauty even while enraged.
“That’s because I’m pissed.” He puffed out his cheeks and blew out his breath. “I told you,” he said in clipped tones, “I’m not going to tear open my soul until I’m ready.”
“You’re not reassuring me,” she said, her voice louder than she intended.
“That’s because there’s nothingto reassure you about,” he said, his voice matching hers.
“Prove it.”
“You have to trust me. I can’t.”
“Can’t or won’t?” She flipped her head, tossing her hair behind her shoulder.
Won’t.”
His green gaze crashed into her, making her feel small and stupid with her accusations. “How can I trust you? This you and me thing is going awfully fast.” She gestured back and forth between them.
“And you said you liked it.” He looked almost menacing. His jaw worked back and forth, muscles ticking. “Don’t make this more complicated than it is.”
His words lashed at her, like whips. She pressed back into the sofa.
He inhaled deeply, letting it out slowly through pursed lips. “I’m sorry,” he said in a softer tone. “Please tell me what’s wrong. I’ve had a shitty couple of days and all I wanted to do is be here and forget about them -- with you.”
She let out a deep breath. “I’ve been looking forward to seeing you, too, Jace.”
“I can’t tell. You seem cold as ice.”
“Sounds about right.” She nodded vigorously. “You heard me say I like a good cold one,” she said, in an attempt at levity.
He didn’t smile. Continued to look at her with a hard, stony gaze.
She sighed. “I had a talk with a friend today. She warned me to find out more about you. She convinced me you’re using me. We hardly know each other, remember?”
Jace shook his head slowly. “I see. Your friend wants to vet me, too. Give me her number. I’ll give her a call…not.” He gripped the arms of the chair, the chiseled muscles of his forearms bunching, making the knife blade tattoo writhe across his skin. “Jesus, Zoé. Don’t you trust yourself to know what’s right?”
“I guess I don’t. I ended up with Billy O’Reilly, didn’t I? What does that tell you about the way I make choices?”
His demeanor softened, gazing at her with his heart melting emerald eyes. “It makes you someone looking for something and you made a wrong turn. I think you wanted this.” He pointed to her and him. Then he stood.
She shrank back even further into the cushiony couch.
He took a step toward her. “I think you really like the way I make you feel, yeah?” he said in a low, rich voice.
The sounds stirred her insides, making her feel crazy strange. She gazed at his powerful arms, ripped with muscle.
“I think the way I make you feel scares the shit out of you, am I right?” he said, taking another step. “Because you can’t control it.”
She glanced at his hips, swinging her eyes back up to his face.
“Checking to see if I’m hard for you?” He took another step, until he stood directly in front of her. “Tell me what you see.”
“Yes.”
“Yes, what?” He placed his arms on both sides of her.
“Yes, I see you’re hard.”
“And who is this hardness for? Who makes me stiff with desire?”
“I do.”
“Are you wet for me?”
Damn it.
“Are you?”
“Yes.”
“Yes, what?”
“Yes, I’m wet for you.”
“Are you hungry for anyone else?”
Her heart pounded in her chest. “No-one else. I’m only hungry for you.”
“Exclusive rights, right, baby?” He leaned closer.
Her legs seemed to spread apart of their own accord. “Yes.”
“I think you want me, am I right?”
“I do want you,” she said. She licked her lips nervously, tipping her head back to look at him.
“And I want you. You’re the only thing that’s kept me going the last couple days.” He placed his hands on the back of the sofa, one on each side of her head, brought his mouth close to hers. “The only thing,” he said into her mouth. “That’s kept me going.” http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KIYFKSU

This is the best Calinda B book yet. I love the characters and the storyline. Calinda supplies laughter, angst, romance and sex. Jace and Zoe begin a rocky relationship and steadily build on their trust of each other. I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.”

5 stars:  "Calinda B has done it again. She's found a way to make characters come alive and worm their way into your hearts. Jace Savage has had his share of troubles. He's run with the wrong crowd, played the field. dabbled in drugs, but that's all in the past. He has responsibilities and he's doing his best to turn his life around, at least until his sister cleans up her act and comes to get her daughter.

Zoe Dubois's a hard working student working her way through college in a field that excites her. She's on the right track when she meets Jace. She doesn't know what to do with him. He excites her like no one else can, but keeps the wrong company. There are a myriad of trust issues from her own life's journey.

Calinda brings these two together with passion, and from the start you wonder if it will be a relationship that will stand the test of time. So much angst, so much steam, so many strings that keep dragging the past into their path. As the first book of hopefully many more, this book lays the ground work with characters you love and characters that you'll love to hate. All in all, a great read!About the Author: Meet our guest, Calinda B, and join us tomorrow for her author feature!

All Roads Lead Here- a poem by, K.N. Lee

All Roads Lead Here K.N. Lee
All roads lead hereTo the end of your journeyA door creaks openWhile your heart is still burning with yearningFor an end to such griefOr a joyous tomorrowLike a sleep thiefThe night sweepsAnd plunges you into such sorrowLike you've never feltIt's heavy and thickThe emotions floodAnd make you feel sickWith guilt and regretYou may start to fret But do not forgetYou are not
Finished
Yet!A step through that doorOf dark thoughtsAnd sickening knotsWill only lock behindRewind your mindTo soft sweet kissesAnd the family that missesTheir sweet little girlThe light to their worldNo need to fret nowTheir words may stingAnd your enemies may bringEmotions of dreadSo much that you think
That they want you deadSuch power they wieldBut your courage
Is your shield Show them the truth
The glorious truth within
You still have a choiceYou can change your life's storyBecause you have a voice...
