Since her childhood in New Zealand, Diana has loved writing stories. While she also enjoyed public school teaching, an autoimmune disorder led her to change careers and become a full time author. She placed first in the 2015 Paranormal Book Awards and the 2016 EPIC Awards.

Until 2017 Diana published mostly straight romance, but a health crisis, (and two years away from writing), caused reassessment of her goals. Consequently she began her first wlw novel, The Falcon’s Heart. As a bisexual woman, with LGBTQA family and friends, she wants to represent greater diversity in her work. Going forward, Diana intends her books to celebrate a beautiful variety of relationships and journeys.

In other situations I simply force myself to keep writing, even it seems slow and awkward. At least then I'm making progress, and it can always be edited later. Often, pushing forward eventually moves me past whatever obstacle blocked my way, and things begin to flow more easily again.(less)

This novel did a good job depicting the horrors of war. Admittedly, it made some of the reading rather grueling, but I admire the author for doing her research and also presenting this subject with proper weight and depth. Such senseless, ongoing bru ...more

I'd give this a 4.5. It wasn't quite "amazing" as the Goodreads rating system describes a 5 star, but it was very VERY good. For me, this is one of the top three Penric and Desdemona novellas, showing a lot of depth both in the situation and the char ...more

Years ago, I read the first Discworld book, The Color of Magic, and didn't like it much. Rinsewind just wasn't a great protagonist...for me. Also the plot seemed overly random and nonsensical. So I figured I'd pass on the other books in this series. ...more
