Walter Rice is the author of the mystery novels "The Last Prisoner", "Holes in My Armor" and "Smarty Havarti" and the suspense novellas "Dig" and "The Kansas Cross-up." He has also authored "Slapdown," a Kindle Worlds science fiction novella in the Kurt Vonnegut orbit. Writing as Linda Walters, he and his wife co-authored two published novels of romantic suspense, "Dragon's Eye," and "Dead Reckoning." He is a former newspaper editor and reporter in the Pacific Northwest, working most recently as a systems editor at the late Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He lives near Seattle with his wife and pets. What I do have is pretty much the opposite situation, which is way too many ideas to handle.

A more relevant question might be this: Do I write as much as I would really like? No. I have lots of life events and responsibilities that too often keep me away from the keyboard, but that's a much different matter.(less)
